The King and Ragone Show with Nesta Silvera

Nah I dont think he wanted like a specific name. but when someone posts something the "source" could be an article, tweet, post on a website etc. If it is not that it is easy just to say someone connected with the team if it is not in a public forum somewhere. I only say that because I have asked the same question when someone posted "Player "X" in the portal" I asked source because I had not seen it, sure enough it was a tweet.

Fair enough. But when I said "several", meaning several individuals, I got crapped on with an "eyeroll". And that's fine.

Unlike a situation where a player entering the Portal will actually be confirmed with paperwork and whatnot, I fully acknowledge that nobody recorded the Mario-Nesta interaction on an iPhone.

The dude who did it can confirm, I was just saying I doubt he was asking a specific name of someone who told you. If thats what he meant then I agree with the poster I responded too, aint no one gonna do that. And portal could be a poor example it could also be something like why a player was suspended from a game, or Nkosi piping down Baxa's GF. It may be on pornhub but idk if that is the most dependable source in the world or least....

In general, I don't understand the need to try and discredit someone or label them a fake insider. Especially when it's a poster who has been around for awhile sharing info and has nothing to really gain.

If you know something is false, shine a light on it. Want to debate respectfully with facts, sure. But if you just don't believe them based on nothing other than your feelings, why not just ignore it and move along? We can all make our own decisions on who to believe and who not to believe, dont need anyone else doing that for us and potentially chasing away someone who can provide info we cant get elsewhere (cough cough.. Cribby).

Was I in the room? No. But this is also not supposition. I'm trying to be diplomatic, but I could phrase it more directly if that's what it takes for some people (not talking about you, just generally) to conclude that this isn't some made-up nonsense for my podcast.

And in case it isn't obvious, I don't have a podcast. Or a Twitter. Or a Spaces. Or whatever else the kids are doing these days.

its admirable how loyal you have stayed to MySpace...

- Nesta love Miami but he had to move on.
- The old staff were trash and way out of their league.
- After the FIU game coaches gave spirit leader award t-shirt
- The nutrition has vastly upgraded since Cristobal arrive. Which makes sense cause a lot of the athletes look small and not physically developed.
- If Mike Rumph would have stayed at American Heritage, Nesta would be playing OG in college. SMH. Surtain made the move for him to DT. They Kinda clowned Rumph for it.

Shoutout to Nesta. I do understand him leaving. It sounds like he just doesn’t believe in some of his teammates. Talked to a couple of people close to him and they told me Nesta felt like a lot of them boys were soft and didn’t care. They said Chantz Williams, A few of the DBs, Bradley Jennings. Also heard somene say that Gurvan Hall had no business playing.

PS: Random - Man, am I happy that TVD is QB now.
Hall was obvious his best hit was when he tried to tackle his teammate

There was a certain poster on here ...goes by the name Prop Joe...that said this years ago when he initially brought Nesta Silvera's name to the board b4 he became a recruit.

Most of the players from Nesta's American Heritage era....DIDNT f*ck with Rumph.

Man, I just shudder to think that if we had beat FSU or if Mario had decided to stay at Oregon, Manny would still be our coach TODAY. Giving out spirit t-shirts after losses to mediocre G5 teams ... 🤢🤮
Man STFU.... let that *** ****t go dog. Ain't nobody wanna hear that negative ish no more.

Ragone is still on the team right? Very odd to give a former player a platform to rip some of your current team mates. Like others have said nesta thinks more highly of his self than CFB does if ASU was his only landing spot.

If you think Nesta was our worst DT I'm guessing that means Jarren Williams was out best QB last year.
He was very inconsistent. That’s the issue I had with nesta. He did it in glimpses but just not consistently. Wish him the best luck tho fr

Never seen a program air out dirty laundry as much at UM.
Players who transfer out, some alumni, some Board of Directors, players who leak out stuff, even staff have.

Am I crazy? Or is this pretty common place. Like shoot, if guy thought that some players shouldn't have played, wouldn't be the perfect time to bring it up to a guy (i.e., Cristobal) who lived it beforehand, and to be quite honest, seems like Mario would welcome it and notice that in a leader type person?

Either way, I think this is a grey area (ex. the way he's speaking of the program) between sour grapes and just straight fed up with some **** that was flying around the program while he was here and maybe he didn't want to have to be part of a rebuilding effort AGAIN.
Every program has these problems..even nick saban. Not everyone is gonna buy in. That’s leadership. Coaches take blame on that. But the players take accountability on that also. It’s clear this team did not have that on Defense especially. When snaps start disappearing feelings get hurt. ESPECIALLY older player’s. What I’m pretty sure happened was a divide among the young players and the older guys..when manny cut time (including nesta) for the younger players the vets felt a way. That’s how I’m reading this..especially on Defense it makes sense.

He was good for a play a half at best When he'd make one, it didn't matter the score or timing, he acted like he just made a play to seal a super bowl win. I've never seen a player of ours be so inconsequential yet act like some dominant player after a play. **** got tiresome.

the moral to this story is that weak, incompetent leadership leads to disarray and betraying loyalties in the locker room. it always starts at the top, and you can't slip slide your way to leadership.

i believe nesta and i also believe @Boarcane et al. who say Nesta was a cancer. both are probably right to some degree. again, none of this would have happened if you had a strong, competent HBC.
Effort is between you and you..

Everyone should get a clean slate, but accountability also needs to be taken and one must be coachable.

yuh haffe humble u self...
