The high and mighty sec

Bruh, yall are seriously overrating the SEC. Any decent QB play really messed up every single SEC defense this year. Even UGA "decade best defense" got dog walked when they faced a good passing offense. Miami loses to Bama, Ole Miss = UNC, TAMU = Mich St, and we probably find a way to lose to 2 more average teams. But yeah, we definitely beat 5 other SEC teams ( 2 cross over East guys, Miss St, Ark, LSU) and 3 out of 4 non conference games would be against lame opponents cuz that's the norm in the SEC. That's 7-5 all over again. 5-3 in conference.

SEC offensive lines are light years ahead of what Miami has to offer—and their front sevens are better, as well.

That will change under Mario and he will rebuild the Canes like an SEC-caliber top dog—but SEC teams picking apart other SEC teams only works because of how they're built, versus how Miami has been built the past 15 years.

There's a reason Alabama boatraced the Canes. ****, even Michigan State pushed Miami around all over the place and wore the Canes out 21-3 in the fourth quarter. Appalachian State took Miami to the wire.

The ACC was an abortion of a conference this year—and the Canes couldn't even take the lowly Coastal—falling to eventual 6-6 Virginia and North Carolina squads right out the gate.

All SEC offensive lines?

This is what we’re talking about. People refer to the entire SEC as though every team has elite lines. That clearly isn’t true. But people keep saying it.

We didn't get worn out lol. We just fell apart once D'Eriq threw that INT and we lost all momentum. Go watch that game again and see if anybody actually looked physically exhausted. They looked like they conceded the game the second that INT was thrown.

The ACC was so bad this year it was hard to fathom. Without Clemson being good.. it was rough. Pitt won our conference for god’s sake… they’d potentially finish 5th(!!) in the B1G East.

Michigan
OSU
MSU
PSU
PITT

There’s an argument to be made that they could’ve MAYBE finished third but I see fifth more likely
Pitt has the top QB going into the NFL. Second best QB in the country behind Young. Only team on that list they could not beat is Michigan. All the others would be close.

Agree with both sentiments.

F their cultist fanbase but two pre-Christmas bowl games with .500 teams like Florida and Missouri is hardly a barometer for the conference's prowess.

Alabama and Georgia are in the Playoffs. Ole Miss is in the Sugar. Kentucky in Citrus. Arkansas in Outback. aTm in Gator.

Six teams playing New Years Eve or New Years Day. They're obviously doing something right. Get over it.
They are, it’s called Marketing and results in selling tickets

Yeah, propaganda and team work. Lol. Every conference tears down their competitors. SEC teams **** ride each other for over 10 years now.

One of the best, yeah. I disagree though. They would’ve gotten blown out by OSU, their defense is nothing special. I mean, Miami and Western Michigan put up 38, 44 on them.

But Ohio State's defense is nothing special as well, which is why Pitt could beat them too. If Pitt played the teams you listed, Pitt would only struggle to score against Michigan. All the other games would be shootouts that Pitt could possibly win.

This is some funny stuff. SEC may be down in a year but looking at the big picture over time nothing has come close to the SEC

UCF season ticket holder so we can hang out with friends but even listening to them after beating UF has been comical. All fan bases are alike.

Pitt lost to Western Michigan AT home.

Acc Corstal was the worst defensive division I have ever witnessed in over 50 years of watching ball. Duke, GT, UVA were awful, ditto us and UNC but rankings improved at end of the year for us 2.

Another reason not losing any sleep over Lashlee leaving, we should have put up 50 on every corstal team.

The $EC f^cking blows donkey balls. UF blows, South Carolina blows, Missouri blows, Vandy blows, Auburn blows, Tennessee is mediocre, Miss St is mediocre, Arkansas is medicore, LSU is medicore, A&M overrated. You Saban and Kirby c0cksucking mongoloids can go start the SEC! SEC! chant with your wives/sisters/cousins (same thing) and join Paul Penishead Finebaum's orgy with Saban.
