More than respectable. You win in the trenches and there you have two DEs that compliment each other. This class has a shot to be salvaged and be very good still.

Cameron Williams had taken a Miami official visit to Miami, but the Canes lost out on the talented prospect when he committed to Oregon July 1

Now, with the news that Oregon coach Mario Cristobal is heading to Miami?

Williams’ mother Tanya told CaneSport that Cameron now plans to decommit from Oregon. And that is based on part on the strong expectation from Tanya and Cameron that Oregon OL coach Alex Mirabal will be taking the job as line coach with the Miami Hurricanes.

“This was just a shocker,” Tanya said. “We don’t know for sure what we will do, but Cameron will be decommitting from Oregon at some point and just opening up his recruitment.”

One of the big winners here is Jalen Rivers...exactly the type of kid that Mirabal crushes with.

Also, on the Kelly / Stewart front...we went from a staff that put two DEs in the first round last year to a staff that has the projected #1 overall pick as a DE. If we don't get at least one of those two we have to ask some deeper questions...
