L was amazing. after BIG I have a group of like 5 that I have a hard time ranking. L, Pun, NAS, Fab and Em. We were robbed of years of the 3 Bigs...

Pun is one of the most underrated lyricists of all time. Fat Joe is good and he bodied Joe most every track.

He passed right when it looked like he was about to hit another level.

LCE, you are one of my favorite posters on this site. But my respect for you went up another notch for repping Big L Lamont Coleman. Anyone who claims to be a true head has Big L in their Top 5. When I ask cats to name their Top 10 MCs of all time and Big L is not mentioned, I just walk away and shake my head. Dude was ridiculous. Died way too soon.

That’s why nobody knows who he is except hardcore fans.

Dudes in the game ain’t want the smoke from L.
