Looks like they lost some key players. Not sold on their *** QB, either. They should have lost 4 more games last year.

Whats the word on this matchup, early?

I think Miami's Defense is going to surprise people this year. I also think special teams is going to be dynamite with all the added depth. If the offense is as good as I think it can be there isn't a team in this nation Miami can't beat this year.

Louisville beat the gayturds...

Gators will come in highly ranked with a "Heisman candidate" QB.

We will leave as the buzzed about team with the Heisman candidate QB.

Lots of new blood on their defense but its not like they have been recruiting slouches.

Our young cats have some battle scars on them though. Could mean the difference.

They lost a whole bunch up the middle of their defense. It'll be interesting to see how they perform on defense.

It'll also to see our defense perform against a physical team. We all know how our D faired last year against physical offenses.

Yeah Driskell won't really have to do much different than what Klein did to us last year if we can't step up up front. Klein killed us but they were completely straightforward.

The DL will continue to be a hindrance unless guys really grow up fast. Not so sure that they'll be ready by September 7, but we can probably outscore them if our offense and ST are on point.

I'm most excited to watch the progression of Tracy, Ladarius, Deon, and Rayshawn. Obviously we will need help off of the bench. However, these four could be the best we've had starting here in a long time...and collectively they are still very young. A lot of room to grow.
Tie for second place as far as which unit I'm second most anxious to see, WR's and LB's.

I'm starting to turn the corner on the Curtis, Olsen, and Luther trio. These guys will make or break their season (and NFL future in two of their cases) with the work they put in this summer. If they show up in the best shape of their lives, game on. If they slack...long season on D. We also need just one guy to show up with some pass rush ability. Don't care if it's inside or outside--just someone. One guy will help create for others and it will snowball.

Porter, Pierre and Robinson aren't pups anymore. They should be ready to go this game. I'm hoping they get through the offseason and the FAU game healthy so we'll be at full strength for Florida. If those three are all healthy our defense shouldn't be a sieve.

I love the progress of guys like OP and CP, but honestly do you guys really expect out D to be much better? The players have gained more strength and are seasoned, but so is every other team. Teams like Virginia, NCstate, Bethune, Duke looked like they Heisman QBs against us! I understand we only lost 1 starter, but our other 10 didn't do much all year except showin a few flashes. Do we really expect the worst D in the nation to drastically improve? IMHO I expect the same bend but don't break D. I rather expect the absolute worst so I don't set myself up. Driskil is probably going to shred up with his legs and arm. He will look all-world and their junk OC will look like a genius.

We have got to get them down early. Florida was never good under pressure. Stretching the field will be hard because all gator cbs and safties can keep up. We have to attack the middle. Sideline to sideline wont work. They will out physical us so we might have to be more finesse

I'll be stunned if the U does not get absolutely curb-stomped.

The U could not score against top 15 D's last year. They were utterly impotent. Gates likely have a top 15 D. Likewise, decent, physical O's ran train on the U all year long. I mean I do not believe ND threw a pass in the second half. Klein is STILL running. We lost to Virginia. We lost to UNC at home.

I love me some Canes but Sapp, Kennedy, Brown and Hendricks ain't trotting out against the Gates and until the U finds playas like that up front, along with a nasty OL, the U will not be back. We can't stop anyone.

Just sad. Yes, Golden will fix it, but not against the Gates.

Negged.

If it wasn't so late I would negg the poster above me.

Don't worry I'll neg him now so you can get him later

Should be a good game. Gators weren't as good as their record last year. Canes should be better. Gator D should still be in the attempting to gel stage.

Driskell likes to throw the ball to the other team and he can ONLY roll right. Until they prove their WR can beat our DBs with safety help we should press those fools all game long.

This game is a crazy match up and could go alot of different ways. I could easily see both teams struggling to score and it being a 13-10 type of game. I can also see either team receiving an *** kicking.

My money? Canes by ruthlessness. The duke has final say.
