The fake injury plague

Reminds me of the scumbags at the airport that exploit airline policies to obtain priority boarding.

If you're so hurt and need help getting on and off, cool.

Board first (and be seated in the back), exit last. Simple stuff.

Easy fix: If a player, like the WF guy in the 4th Q, is upright, looks over to the sideline and then suddenly falls down, ban him from the field for three plays or even for the rest of the drive.
Leave it to the ref's discretion. So many of these fakes are incredibly obvious...

There is another very easy fix. Throw a flag for delay of game. Make it booth-reviewable, like targeting. Give the team the option to take a time-out instead of being penalized the yardage, or else a 10-play disqualification of the player.

Up it to a 30 second runoff for the defense or a 30 second time addition for the offense depending on who is playing the game.

It’s bush league but I don’t think there’s much you can do about it. If you allow referee to substitute his judgment for when a player is legitimately injured or not, there is too much risk that a player/team can be sanctioned for a legitimate injury.

In the premier league if you go down to the field you have to go to the sideline to be checked and the team plays down a guy while you’re out, unless it’s so bad that you have to use one of your subs. Just sayin, other sports have figured out a way.

Sideline for the rest of series or even a quarter. That said, Mario should get in coach’s face post-game. Totally bull****, coward move having players fake injuries.

How about shoot the player that cramped? If he’s good to go back in the game afterwards, cool. If not, shoot the coach too. After all, if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.

The player needs to sit out the series, it's as simple as that. I also think that if you have more than "X" amount of injury stoppages the other team should be awarded an extra timeout to be used throughout the game.

15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct on the first offense. 2nd offense is an ejection.

And it should be reviewable by the refs.
