Not a home run hire but a quality hire in my opinion. Give him talent and he'll give you a good defense.
let the guy write what he wants. there is no room for culture canceling here especially admitted c@cksuckers. ignore him and move on and stop being so hurt by his message, regardless of how mopey they arewhen the F are the mods going to sit on your neck? You are the most transparent wafer thin POS I've ever seen. Just stop, man. There has to be a better use of your time. Life is short.
how is he as a recruiter?Dude make *** jokes and quit trolling , dude is super well respected and Auburn people loved his defenses. It’s obvious what you’ve been doing you miserable ****.
Is Kevin Steele the "Home Run Hire" everyone was expecting? Not to a lot of this fan base because a lot of this fan base is literally dissapointed with the fact that we have "all this money" and can't seem to get Bill Belichik for D-Coordinator.He hasn’t been waiting for 2 months to hire Kevin Steele.
The other choices fell through & then Steele got hired, nothing wrong with that.
My Auburn buddy absolutely loved the guy.
Most of the porsters here would be mad they had to get there dck sucked because it too messy. Is Kevin Steele the "Home Run Hire" everyone was expecting? Is Kevin Steele potentially better than the last (two) defensive coordinators we have had under Manny? Yes
Better than D'Nofrio under Golden? Yes
Better than John Lovett under Randy Shannon? Yes
If it's a one or two year "stop gap" that's fine. If the defense balls out under him then he may move on and at that point our defense will be a proven commodity again and we will be able to get someone more palatable to the fan base.
On paper "key words" he is already the best D-Coordinator we have had here in at least 15 years.
Let's roll.
honestly if the options we *thought* were on the table were belk, schumann, or steele? then yes steele is the best of the bunch and a home run.Is Kevin Steele the "Home Run Hire" everyone was expecting? Based on his resume he’s the best DC we’ve hired since Sunny Lubick. Is Kevin Steele the "Home Run Hire" everyone was expecting? I'd let momma McClain pick the CB coach tbh.
Also being told Norm Chow is the finalist for the OC gig.
It's just a case of big bank take lil bank...just like bama and UGA did usHe could’ve been retained. He wasn’t. And then he was out of work for a year.
When he returned, his best job offer (before Mario came begging) was Maryland.
If he was so good at Auburn, why weren’t the big programs beating down the door to hire him once he became available?
