The decommits

He is using this as his excuse when everyone knew he was looking around and was gonna jump ship. Wasnt man enough to just make that decision so to keep that's a scumbag my guy
The kid has never been in trouble a day in his life, 3.0 GPA, plays hard & works on his craft, is respectable & comes from a good family.

He's a 17 year old making a decision for his future, but he committed the cardinal sin of decommiting from Miami & now he's a "scumbag" because some fans are upset about it because they think he's supposed to waste the next 4 years of his career playing for Diaz & Enos lol.

The kid actually did like Miami a lot, his whole family is Canes fans & wanted him to stay home, but when your team follows up a 7-6 2018 season by losing to teams like GTech & FIU, you make it real easy for talented players to want not want to stick with their commitment.

You don't know him or know anything about him classify him as a scumbag just because he decommitted when you didn't want him to. It's his life he has to makes decisions that's best for him, it's not his job to make you happy.

He's not a scumbag, he ain't done sh*t to be called a scumbag, he's just not about to throw away his future for the sake of fickle fans that will turn on him in a split second, so go ahead & keep attacking him because it makes you feel better.

Some of these kids handle their recruitment immaturely but I wouldn’t call them scum bags, that’s a stretch. I don’t blame any kid for not wanting to jeopardize their careers playing under this regime, they gotta make a business decision.

People are trying to defend the coaches after they lost to FIU. Lmao. Manny ain’t it. Enos was a smart hire but we just don’t have the offensive line for it down here. It just didn’t work out. Baker ain’t it either. It really is a colossal **** up but you can’t blame them for taking a promotion they probably shouldn’t have got. Blake James let manny (Temple position) strong arm him to make a quick decision. When you make a decision that quick this is what you get.

What the staff did last night was embarrassing. The kids have every right to pick what school they want to go to and if a team can’t beat fiu then why should they go. Only time I got mad at a kid was boghle and jobe

What's funny to me is that folks say "would you send your kids to Miami?" will be the same ones clamoring 10 wins minimal when this program will be a complete rebuild when the talent is gone and it will be gone...... Honestly, it is just going to get worse here. Manny isn't going to be fired bc "he needs time" and we are being outcoached so bad that we are losing to teams that aren't even close to us in talent. Blake James will remain AD and we are going to make sure our money is not spent in football. It is what it is at this point. Will forever love my canes 😭😭😭

Be honest then and dont use this situation as your excuse. Shouldve been decommitted already but he took the cowards way

Get over yourself man, you don't know anything about the kid to call him a coward or a scumbag.

All you're doing is finding a way to defend the Corches by blaming the recruits.

Gtfoh with that *** kissing Corch nonsense. Fck this bum *** staff, the kids don't owe them or yall hating *** fans any kind of loyalty. They're not going to develop them & put them in the best position possible to maximize their abilities at the next level.

You keep talking all this loyalty sh*t... Loyal to what exactly??? Diaz, Enos?? **** the fck no smh lol. You stay loyal to them, not a kid that has the potentiality of making the NFL & changing their life & their families life.

You're just a mad fan & mad fans are always attacking players/recruits while letting inept coaches off the hook.

He's a 17 year old kid, not a man yet, you want him to apologize because he didn't decommit when YOU wanted him to?

Let it go bruh.

I wonder how many legit decommits (not drops) LSU has had during this season?

Point being we need to stop giving local kids legit reasons to bail...

We can argue the timing of the decommits all we want, but the bottom line is although I hate to see them, I totally understand. Sports always seems to turn logical people into illogical people.

In your professional lives no one here would hitch themselves to a company that's going downhill fast no matter how much they thought they'd like to work there when they were in college/growing up. There would be no talk of, "if just me, my friend Steve, and a couple of other good employees came aboard we could turn this thing around." Nope, you'd be saying there's no way in **** I'm going to work for those sorry *** new owners, or those clueless guys in upper management, etc. This is a business decision for them, and if we want to keep hiring sorry *** coaches then this is what's going to happen.

Save ALL of your anger for those at UM that keep running this **** thing as if they are trying to out suck Daniel Snyder.

I attacked the coaches first. And it's not attacking if it's TRUE. The scumbags wanna use this as their excuse to bolt. If they were being honest and just straight up said the staff is incompetent and unless changes are made I cant play for that nobody would say anything
Calling kids you don’t know scumbags. Soooooo edgy

Whatever. Flailing at local kids makes no sense. It’s irresponsible for this school to allow this program to be run incompetently, and its understandable that kids with options would look elsewhere to lay the foundation of their careers.

What you say is true.

But there’s no denying that south Florida kids are the lowest of the low.

Loyalty though is a two way street. We have consistently provided poor coaching staffs for what, almost 20 year now? How many players have gone undrafted or undervalued to the NFL? This is their career, and we are not preparing the players to reach their potential. We are not providing the opportunity to shine on the largest stage against the best competition to show their brand. Why? Is it a lack of caring from the AD and BoT? Sheer incompetence? Being okay being mid level ACC team as long as we have good boys that know their place? Or just happy to have the ACC money rolling in if they don't care that we suck?

We do not roll out the red carpet for players like we would like to think. Kids come here in spite of the facilities, and bags, that is loyalty. They want to play here because of family, friends and the love of the U, that is loyalty. That is what Howard capitalized on, but Howard could coach and build a staff. However, loyalty has its boundaries, and UM crossed them too many times, and it is hurting relationships.

The athletic program here is a clown show. You have a program trending down, recruiting in the toilet and you pay Temple $4M to bring one of the coaches back. Coker, Shannon, Golden, Richt (burned out) and now Manny. You tell me these were the best choices in college football each time the job was open? Loyalty, to UM is how can we get out cheap and keep the fans quiet, but buying tickets and merchandise.

The score was closer than the game itself. We got our asses handed to us by FIU, and you want loyalty from kids that want to make it to the next level. Manny couldn't get his team ready to crush a team from down the road, one with bad blood. FIU beat our asses and you are mad a player decommitted. Get a real coach and chances are he may re-commit. Show a path to winning and getting him to the NFL at value and he may encourage others to come. But would you really want to come to this ****show? Loyalty and all?

Romello Brinson is not a scumbag, he hasn't done a **** thing for you to call him that.

You're just ****ed that they decomitted, but all they're doing is looking out for themselves & doing what's best for their future. They don't owe you or these sh*t Corches any obligation to committed to a dumpster fire of a team.

Give me one good reason why any high caliber player should want to play for Diaz, Enos or Baker?
Not a **** thing is a stretch dude was litterly commited hours before decommited and is tweeting and retweeting disrespectful statements. Not just you suck either.

Dude hated miami. F him and his pappy how about that
