gets zero pass rush.

We all expected this, but wow that was disappointing.

We didn't even get pressure in flashes.

Jethro Franklin?

I hope golden gets as many dlineman as possible this recruiting season. That line needs an overhaul
 
Chikillo disappointed today. I tried to keep an eye on him as the game went on. We at least need him to play better. When Porter gets back we'll be a little better but it's most definitely the concern right now.

Extremely disappointing. We have nothing at DE in the way of pass rush. Chick will get hustle plays but he's just not going to put a ton of pressure on a QB. If I were AG I would slip some dbol in McCord/Hoillett's Wheaties and go get as many JUCO DEs as we can manage to fit.
 
Im not suprised the Dline struggled. When you have to give significant snaps to 3 true freshman (Moore, McCord, Hamilton) it's gonna be tough sledding.

We need Porter back in the rotation ASAP

Not surprised at the non-existent pass rush, the only DE we returned (that played) from last years team was AC

At DE we have Chickillo who is not a DE that will generate a ton of pressure, 2 converted LB's (Cain, Green), and freshmen. We will need some of the freshman to grow up (McCord, Hoilett, Terry) and at least turn into situational 3rd down guys.

Coach D will also need to get creative cause opposing QB's will have all day most times we bring just 4.

The DL should get better as these young guys get more snaps. But yeah this is like the worst Canes defense I've ever seen.

It's not jethro. It's a lack of talent, and horrendous Shannon recruiting. How would you like to have lemonier and nix on that line now?

I still say '07 is the worst, then last '11.

Oklahoma put up 411 yards and 45 points in 2007.

BC put up 541 yards and 30 points today.

The jury is still out. This could be an epically bad defense.
 
WORST DL EVER at UM. I never thought after the last few years anything could be worse, but this DL is the absolute most disgraceful thing I have ever seen here. No speed, no size, no push, nothing. These guys were a DISASTER.

And before you think, well we contained the rush and won the game, this was BOSTON COLLEGE. We got NO pressure at ALL by the front 4. NOTHING. Not even on a BLITZ.

WE need to figure something out on that DL and FAST, or we are going to get sodomized up front by teams like FSU, ND and KSU.
