Lol comparing this update to one of ivins is hilarious. I actually posted multiple things you haven’t heard. Ivins last few updates haven’t said anything at all, period. They were posted on here , I’ve read them.

Like I said , I’m not sure what earth shattering news you expected with 4-5 spots left and a few of those already filled.

You’re either a troll or just a little slow, I’m not stealing 9.99 a month and I actually post something new.
As our #1 insider can you tell us about Patke. I need to know if my disdain for him on this staff is out of place at all and if he has any redeeming qualities? Like if we get chase (or even Lewis) who are the ones responsible? We are about to give him some ******* insane ammunition at striker. ... Like does this dude have a potential to be a good recruiter cause Banda has been heating up and he's obviously Diaz's top guy. But Baker and Patke are the next two. Just wondering if we are going to have a donofrio situation on our hands (though hopefully a lot less importance)... thanks

Lol. I just constantly read people on this board taking shots at Ivins because his updates are "vague" and "stating the obvious" and yet here is a post from Cribby that is essentially stating the obvious and yet everyone is praising him. No offense to Cribby but I've been on this board since 2013 and I've seen a bunch of fake insiders lead us on as fans with player "insight" on Jobe, Surtain and Campbell to name a few. To each their own but I am not going to believe rumors from posters that says the "experts" are full of sh*t but I am right.
@RVA Cane it would be great to have some sort of basic online I.Q. test administered before new users are allowed to join. It would probably make your job a lot easier.

If you’re a high school athlete trying to earn an athletic scholarship, you should know **** well that the NCAA requires minimum GPA in “core classes”. Every single coach knows this and should be pounding it into their players’ heads. The problem is, it’s a floating scale with SAT minimums. If you have a high enough core GPA, your minimum SAT score is lower. If you have a lower core GPA, you can still get in if your test scores are high enough. This is where kids get into trouble. They say “my GPA is x all I need to do is get (y) on my SAT and I’m in”. Unfortunately getting (y) test score is often not as easy as they think it will be.

Exactly.

Here's the reality. These kids need to take AND pass English and Math classes for all 4 years and get to a math level just below Calculus. And under the new NCAA rules, they have to have the core GPA at a certain level by the end of the junior year (they can no longer re-take half of their HS courses in the senior year).

Coaches, teachers, and guidance counselors should be stressing this from the first day of HS.

It is especially hard to make exceptions at Miami. We are a private school without all the "jock majors" that state schools often have. Miami got rid of the Physical Education major when Vinnie Testaverde was in school, but there are plenty of state schools in dying states (West Virginia) that still offer majors that won't require a kid to take a couple of remedial math classes prior to enrolling in Business Calculus.

Best of luck.

What’s funny is I’m called vague but I actually posted July 18 the staff felt good about Williams. He commits three days later. Now if I start a thread on that it gets alot more attention. If I just post it in a thread it gets overlooked. I only had eight likes on that post , people just glazed over it. I did the same thing with Marshall.

I learned my lesson after the LT thread, it had right around 100 k views in a few days. Obviously I was naive to the eyes reading my threads.

Call it “vague” but I think I’m pretty blunt with what I say , especially if you Know how I post. There’s hints right in front of your face.

With this many eyes on me I’m not just coming out and saying **** that could expose people or hurt the program. So if that’s not good enough for you just block me or don’t read it.

At this point I don’t have to prove anything to anyone.
Honestly, there is no need to reply to the haters. I’m as skeptical as they come with insiders, but you’ve been weeks ahead on news going back a few years now(Hasselwood). You were the only one saying Miami was in the pole position for JM weeks before the CB’s rolled in.
You’re making this place fun again, along with Manny killing it on the trail. Keep doing your thing because many more people appreciate it than those trying to call you out.

He said miami nor the player reached out to him to NOT put a CB in. That after the Manny tweet he reached out to his Miami sources. That people are usually ecstatic when he puts a CB in for the team and was kinda surprised by the push back. That it’s never a lock and more like a temperature check of the recruiting picture at the current time and then said when recruits go to contact other schools that they are committing somewhere else sometimes strange things happen. Gave the example of J. Dunn earlier this cycle about to commit to Oklahoma, he called Ohio State to inform them he was committing to Oklahoma and OSU said “wait, we have a spot with your name on it!” And how Dunn flipped right there.
So which was it... they didn’t ask to not post or they pushed back? Guy is so full of ****

What was vague about Hammet? Pretty sure that hasn’t been said. What about Lewis ? I continue to say he’s not coming. Chase smith ? Is that vague? Collier ? That’s not vague at all , before I didn’t think Miami was a possibility.

Imo it was pretty informative for how tight spots are and what’s out there.

I swear some of your idiots are miserable. If you’re so bothered by this I’ll leave you a refund.
Seems like the guys doing most of the criticizing never post here. There's probably a post on some other board encouraging mongoloids to come over here and stir **** with you.

I wouldn't doubt it. Just as we monitor the Gaytors fans on Gaytor Tears, I'd imagine that Ivins' site probably has a "CIS Cesspool" thread.

These idiots need you to say something to the tune of “player A and B will commit here and player C doesn’t have a spot” on repeat every 15 minutes with associated pictures for the particularly slow.

Smh don’t know how you do it

Thanks Cribby. This is better than 'The Work' used to be.

Shame about Hammet, but I guess it is what it is. Hope it works out for him.

Collier projects as a safety right? Isn't our safety room getting a little full between all the safetys (AW) we took last year plus JW & KK in the fold already? Plus the Strikers... Shouldn't we save the spot for something more critical?

Same thing with DT. We'll have Haye, Collins, and LT. Plus we keep Q Williams (?), Nesta, Roberts (?), Miller, Holley, Blissett, & Harrison-Hunte. That's 10. If we get Maason, won't that be too much?

I'll let the staff decide on T2. Would be great to have, but maybe not at the cost of the baggage that comes with him. 99.9% of people here don't know the whole story so we'll just have to trust what the staff does there.

Yes, the "15 minute repeat" feature is key for guys "who don't want to read the whole thread".
