I mean, you'll accidentally blunder across a good fact now and then, and if you're not drinking - you'll actually make some really good points while weaving in and out of lucidity - and I like you, but we're going to need some links on these debates you won.

Now if you were trash-talking Golden, then you're dead-nuts-on correct, and I'll stand up for you on that subject. But if you were standing up for Golden/Dorito, then we gotta have some links.

As a die hard cane fan I've been guilty of lying to myself about the state of the program now and then. I really had the highest of hopes for Golden and co but it's hard to ignore his and his staff's glaring coaching deficiencies.
Look at the talent on this roster right now on both sides of the ball and tell me if a coach worth a **** could field a very good team with what we have. We have quietly assembled very good miami caliber talent on both sides.
My point is that this year will put all these arguments to rest. Either Golden gets exposed as the in over his head car salesman or he proves himeself.
I'm rooting for the latter in the worse way but as much as it pains me to say, I'm expecting the former. I really hope to God I'm wrong.

I've said very similat things over the last few months.
If we see more of the same from the defense against Louisville out of the gate I will be truly disappointed and of the mindset that even firing Dorito shouldn't save Golden.

To be honest, this should be the board mantra for the next couple of months. I think this is exactly how it will play out. We are obviously not getting rid of AG till after this next season, however this is without a doubt a fork in the road season. Arguing about anything else is just ppl wanting to see themselves type.. lol
