Agreed, and isn't that interesting to say? Teo was looking like the future after Loma. Then......

Real confidence is the most important piece when you get to the higher levels of boxing.

He also looks to be one of those guys caught between weights. The power didn't come to 140 and his body can't make 135.

What's really funny is that I thought we were going to see Teo and Shakur at 147, along with talents like Boots and Ortiz (and Garcia if he can actually go) , in about 3 years for a new "golden age" at welter.

Teo has regressed. He needs to ditch his dad and find a new trainer.

On a different note, in your opinion, what is really out there for Bud? At this point all that is left is a real legacy fight or a huge payday (though Spense could be both in one fight).

I've given up on Spense happening. I'd love to see him fight Boots, but that would only be a legacy fight for Boots, not Bud and it wouldn't be huge money for Crawford. A while back I thought he might go back to 140 and fight Taylor to become the first (I think) two time undisputed champion, but the belts are split up now. There is no legacy fighter for him at 154, but there might be a legacy fight if he goes up and beats Charlo to become undisputed at two different weights, but that would have to happen soon and he probably wouldn't have a 154 tune up.

I have no idea what that guy is doing because he could do all the things mentioned here. I’m staying optimistic with Spence. Such a bad look for both guys of they don’t make that fight happen. There is no reason why this fight shouldn’t be made
unless they’re both pricing themselves out. Pay Spence more. If Crawford wins, he makes more in the rematch. These boxers are annoying as ****. So many great fights to be made and these guys **** around. Speaking of that, is big Charlo ever fighting anyone good or will he continue his loud interviews where he calls out Canelo and Benavidez?

First fight of the year is this weekend with Tank.

And, really how good are the Charlos? I have no idea.

Also, I have no interest in watching Davis until he actually fights someone. His out of the ring career is starting to remind me, a lot, of Broner.

100 Million AB? What an idiot. You down for a Tank vs Ryan fight?

Broner is, and has always been, a clown. In ring his dilemma reminds me of what I said about Teo. He can't make the lower weight and isn't good enough at the higher weight. On a tangent, it is the opposite of Loma, who shouldn't be at the weight he is, but wanted the bigger fights moving up and is now just out-physicaled as he gets older.

Tank v. Ryan, yes and no. Would I like to see the fight? Yes. Am I mark enough to pay $75+ for a battle of boy bands who haven't proven anything? No.

This is what I really miss about the old days. Guys would fight on regular TV, build a fanbase, stoke the hype, and then go to truly main events. Now I get to see PPV options with guys who don't have titles, much less real resumes.

I’ll hit up the sportsbook for the fight. I wouldn’t shell out money for that either. It will be good stuff though…..highly entertaining buildup.

I tend to think one of those guys will go on to a successful career. But only one and I'm not sure which it will be.

Looking forward to his fight this evening. I'll be watching. For those who were unaware, Cutty from The Wire is based off the guy who discovered and inspired Tank to become a boxer. What a great show. Better check the blind spots for Michael. RIP Bodie!

Let the pre fight buildup begin.

Yes sir! Wonder if it'll be LA, Vegas or NYC?
