I agree why would this guy think of something like this at 1:57am. LMAO.

I just randomly saw how the Denver Nuggets have a big gaudy DPOG (def. player of the game) chain they award to a player after every game & was thinking about how much a fumble it was for Mario not to adopt the chain after Mannys departure. These celebration chains are viral & widespread throughout sports, and just really seems like such a pointless and stupid thing to get rid of because of Marios no-nonsense shtick bs.

(not the first thing the Mario has effed up but that's for another thread)
Trust me when I say the chain would’ve been a moot point this year. Imagine Jayden Harris celebrating a fumble recovery after blowing his 10 previous assignments. **** would’ve done nothing but p iss me clean off

Wow, it’s going to be a long offseason. We go logos out here legit complaining about the end of the played out turnover chain? It’s called a fad, and it’s pretty much a dead one. Heck the team even stopped doing Wards celebration late in the year. Why? **** was played out and we were sucking.

We have terrible front running, trying to recreate the past culture. And so long as that continues, prepare thy sins every year! Now I am happy to grill Mario on not figuring it out, but it’s kind of why we needed kidding over Mario. Mario is only going to add to the “chasing nostalgia” mentality.

Just my $.02 though.

It was fun while it lasted. Definitely made 17 that much more special. Let's not ruin it by bringing it back.

I don't want players who need those kind of gimmicks around the program. Mario did the right thing by getting rid of it.

Since we’re talking about the turnover chain being fun, should we also bring back the sideline dancing? Slip and slide too? Those are fun too!

I agree with you. Mario sucked all the fun out of the room and they still sucked on Defense.

Cam's cele took over sports celebrations. You see it everywhere now including the NFL.

Need to come up with something new like that.

We should just allow any defensive player who gets a turnover to slap Mario in his fat ****
