Between this post and the USC insider post suggesting that JM is not leaving USC, I wonder who this mystery QB is - if this mystery qb is still in play, then Branch bros must approve, right?

You would think so but it sure feels like time is running out. Feels like late April is too late to add someone and expect to be a contender next year.

Maiava was one of the qb’s I hinted at other day that could enter. Multiple years left . People in the agent world thought he’d enter at some point. If it were happening it would’ve been today or tomorrow at the latest. I told a few people in pm this AM sc didn’t think he’d submit . Then the usc insider said the same thing not too long ago. If he in fact never submitted it’s over.

Man options getting kind of scarce. What the **** is Mario going to do at this point? Gotta believe there is a fair amount of panic inside the building. I just can’t square this with the fact that Miami feels good about the Branch brothers after what Emory showed on 12/28.

Well, based on another thread, you are right about panic in the recruiting area…

Those changes can’t come fast enough, especially if we end up with Emory and Nickel as the spring qbs.

I had a college roommate who composed a guitar piece entitled Spank Sock. He would have fit right in with the recruiting staff this past season.
 
The thing that makes mad is that Wario has a fetish for the impossible/complicated situations.

You had plenty of options available that were the same or better than Maiava and infinitely better than Emory but that ******* bum stayed put.

Again: QB recruting strategies have been more than suspect with Wario at the helm.
