The biggest problem on defense

mark my words. if/when curtis porter returns, the defense will improve greatly. i believe the problem on defense is the youth of the d-line. as a unit it sucks. we're not strong enough yet. if/when curtis porter returns, he will be able to get pressure from up the middle. then it will be a domino effect. the d-line will then play better. and then the LBs & the secondary will also improve. i'm not saying curtis porter is a great/dominant player by any means. he is just the best DT we have (when healty) IMO.

Rico Williams is bigger than McCord, yet the latter is playing. I wonder if he is talented enough to play here. Butch was after him hard so I find it hard to believe he cannot at least see the field at this point.

So what has change from last year to this year? Last this defense for the most was solid.
