The Bank (9/13)

d$, I saw SJ play last week vs #1 Mater Dei. Thoughts:

*he’s a co-captain on a large and experienced OLine. He played RG next to a top RT who is committed to Tennessee.

*he’s stout with no excess weight.

*listed at 6’3”, 295, he looks a bit shorter than that.

*plays low with great leverage. Aggressive and very sound in his technique. Totally in control with a professional demeanor on every play. A leader.

*only concern is his height. Perhaps a center?

*biggest surprise? Mater Dei dominated the game in all phases. More physical with better skill players. The Gorman team lacks the explosive WRs from recent years, eg Zachariah Branch at USC and Rome Odunze now of the Bears
Thank you!

As a center prospect (which is where he fits best), what kind of upside does he have? His testing numbers are off the charts in terms of speed and quickness.

So much momentum. Miami Football is steamrolling opponents on the field, in recruiting and in the classroom. The only thing that could slow this train down is a misstep at 2025 QB. Gotta be back channeling now that people can see what Miami can do with a legit QB behind that Great Wall of Mirabal.

Outside of the OL recruits and maybe Newton..we don’t have much dead weight. Unless I’m missing someone. I took at look at the class and was having a hard time finding anyone we would push out.

He looks closer to 6 Ft then 6 Ft 3

@D$, who are you expecting to get dropped?

Isn't it up til 105 schoolies next year? I'm sure it's a possibility, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if no one got dropped? Maybe Wilkerson or Campbell?

Joshua Moore flip watch
This may be an unpopular take but I watched him live this year and I left unimpressed versus an inferior team. Great frame/size (pause), but I didn’t see explosion, quickness, or anything other than his frame that stood out. To his defense, he doesn’t have a talented QB throwing him the ball. In Miami fashion, i arrived near the end of the 1st quarter, so I preference this by saying that I didn’t see him catch a single pass. They tried forcing a few jump balls to him, but all were incomplete. I didn’t see UM caliber. Small sample size, but I left unimpressed.

D$ in his last 2 Banks has been preparing us that there will be multiple shakeups to the class & that some players are rising/falling based on Senior film evaluations.

Translation: There will be drops/decommits
