We need to start targeting out of state players sooner. Jalen Brown was on campus many many times, they had enough time to evaluate then move on to other targets. Also we knew Innis was gone. We still are having problems locking down most of the top kids in south FL. Not all of them but most. Most of our smoke is coming from national recruits. We still have only 3 SO FL players committed. Players like Bain Legacy, Damari Brown Legacy. I don't think i heard anything from either about taking OV’s or nothing. These players cant complain about not being recruited or that Miami doesn't care about Football. Im not counting either in our class right now. Don't care about these silents either. Brown was apparently a big lock until he wasn't. Baxter trending away. No idea what going on with Hykeem. Insiders been saying we good with him.....says who? Andy Jean, same ****, UF the leader after 1 visit.

But 5 stars not even from FL or So FL see the come up and yet we have to wait on these guys. Im more confident in Samson, Wayne, Harbor, M'Pemba. Players who are not local. They are more honest with their assessment of what they see us doing.

Also shout out to Robby, Bobby and Ray Ray. They trying to help us build.

Go after ****ey and William Fowles etc.

The skinny is the Dad was a major pain. Staff wasn’t super high on him.

So we took a L which will happen again. But the W we will take today is FAR greater. WR grow on trees and while it sucks to miss on Brown getting Wayne who is a MONSTER is by far much greater.

That was pretty clear watching his commitment. Ol pops couldn’t wait to grab the mic and get himself some face time. Jalen didn’t look nearly as excited as mom and pops.

IMO, you have to treat the OT position like we are treating the WR position. (If all 5 of Hykeem, Brown, Ray Ray, Robby, and Jean want in...you take all 5). If Aileen, Freeling, Samson and Mauigua want in..I dont see how you turn anyone away. All 4 should have the green light. Premier OTs are hard to find.

They should take Freeling right now if he wants in imo. If you saw his basketball highlights, it's a wrap. They might not want to allocate too much NIL to one position though.

I can say with 100% certainty if I had to play a game right now and I had Robby "2 times", Ray Ray, and Brown on my team, and game was on the line, Brown would be my 3rd option easily. The other 2 are dogs, Brown has upside, but he needs alot of work.

Mario is building championship LOS. Look at who he has signed, got committed, or leading for.

I think Nathaniel Joseph said something to the effect that Mario recruited his parents as well. If this is a foreshadowing for Baby Damon, that would be awesome!

Only Bama, Notre Dame, OSU, UGA ahead in terms of average player rating on 247. Really admire this staff for all their doing. Amazing to see. Hopefully season results lead to even higher class ranking.
