The Bank (6/26)

Without going into detail about what I have heard, simply look at Dmoney's banks or atms the past few months. Pay attention to how many names Dmoney said the staff felt real good about and prioritized certain kids, than within a few weeks you had new names appear and the others disappear. And it's a mixture of lower ranked and higher ranked kids.

The fact is, the staff has missed on quite a few kids so far and misread there position with them as well. All these new names are not because they all of the sudden became more prioritized.

With that being said, we are going to land studs in this class. No reason to freak out yet. But I assure you we have missed on quite a few recruits we really wanted. It's well over double digit kids.
in your opinion, have we missed on these kids because of last year's disaster?

I make this post every year, but once again: no program in the country can expect an entire class to be contributors. Bowden said it best:

1) one third will be starters and stars;
2) one third will be rotation players to spot starters; and
3) one third will negligible to zero contribution at the program.

You'd better hit on your top targets, in terms of the eval and signing, because group #1 needs to consist of good players.

Land Stewart, Scott, Breland, Trader and Patterson and everyone calms the **** down. The problem is that while its very possible we do, its not a lock.
Ain’t no locks in crootin. But we have a guy that’s built a decent foundation of a class that can then let him go big game hunting.

60% of the 2019 class had almost no impact on this program. The 4 year attrition hardly gets calculated in these "stars" discussions.
2010 was an unmitigated disaster as well.

2011, 2013, 2015…

issue with the 08 class was even the top half of the class were misses....

Arthur Brown (38 overall prospect) - good player in college but didnt do ish here
Fortson (#11 overall)- miss
Brandon Harris (#25) hit
Aldarious Johnson (#32) miss

Then you had CJ Holton, Marcus Robinson, Davon Johnson all in the top 100, I would say they all missed.

Spence was great, but Jordan Futch and Ramon Buchanon (both top 50 guys) were solid but did not play up to their ranking.

Bro, I was just saying how I swore up and down Jordan Futch was going to be the next great thing here. Ironically, it was also the last time I tried to do an eval. Misses happen, we just have A LOT of them.

I’m still baffled Buchanon did nothing here

The flip to the Gaytah and then the flip back was mass hysteria
