The best thing about Francis, besides him potentially coming to UM, is the fact that UF is the only school that he OV’d to that has not been mentioned as a legit player for him. Miami is a professional sports city. What better way to be prepared for the pros? The allure of parties and clubs will be ever present when these young men get drafted and go to live in a major city. Miami can prepare them for that at an early stage.

I believe it was also one of the reason scouts used to like Miami players. They were more ready for the intangibles i.e. the life outside on the field. They were already somewhat seasoned to that world whereas a kid from say Clemson was a big fish in a small pond and that was about to change. Deshaun **** near lost his mind when he left Clemson...
