The Bank (3/6)

I just copied and pasted my response from page 3.

He goes to my Alma mater at Kirkwood and is coached by my former teammate Jeremy Maclin. He is a dynamic WR already and just started playing more defense this year at safety. He is definitely a big kid. Trains in a group with my son and Jacob is as big or bigger than some of the local P4 LB recruits so I understand the possibility of moving him closer to the ball and in less open space. He is working hard to sharpen his skills as a DB but I assumed his ceiling would be at WR.
Maclin had a couple of very good years in the pros

Cool to see thanks for sharing

More like a few but yea he’s been the head coach for 3 years now after being the OC for about 2-3 years. Been a learning process but he’s getting better as a coach and dealing with recruiting. I’ve been waiting a long time for a Kirkwood player to be on Miami’s radar!

He was always a TD threat with his speed

Wise is a legacy who looks like he wants to be here, and we also have Miret locally.
You were saying?

Kid was a panhandle *** guzzler that was going to either Bama or Clemson.

I said earlier he's a C body type and we already have SJ .... spend the money on the IMG guys.

"The best player on the team" that will see 10-18 snaps per game and account for 4 TDs for the season.

The hype will cause a lot of people to be mad when his name comes up eventually.

My issue with the Lofton hype is that even if it is legit, we're expecting him to somehow provide Arroyo and Martinez level performances at TE and RB/FB/HB. He can't be both our best TE and our backup RB if Fletcher or Lyle go down.

I don’t think that’s the realistic expectation specifically running the ball but with 7/15/2/8/11 all no longer receiving targets, he is going to get the ball. They tried to involve him quite a bit throughout the year on a couple failed screens, the deep ball in the bowl game, etc.

He’s going to be a big part of the goal line packages and has shown to be. Pretty good blocker in the run game already.
