They just got destroyed a week ago but I guess 30 plus point losses don't count to recruits

Napier is getting Goldened. They're using him to get the offer they really want. Top recruits talk to UF because they're desperate and willing to pay a suck tax on top of top dollar, so that other SEC teams and Miami have to match or at least raise their offers. I highly doubt any of these kids go there except the legacies. And I still think we have a shot at Hanks, especially if UF loses to Lane and Mikie.

They just out collecting bags and get paid to promote the program these guys aren't flipping from heavyweight programs like Texas, Oregon, Ohio st, Georgia just got to to UF to get destroyed and go 6-6 next season. Like you said they just waiting to the buyout gets lowered next year like golden
 
Who cares what uf does. They going to get theirs and we going to get ours . Only thing I wish we stopped recruiting heavy gator leans early on like vernell brown he’s gator through and through

thats not marios style. **** go after them till they sign elsewhere. hes not gonna give up and more often than not in recruiting, he gets his way

The problem is that he's OSUs 3rd highest COMMIT at LB/DE, and he's at the top of our BOARD.

It doesn't hurt OSU if he leaves. It hurts us by not not even getting him.

We will never compete for big games if this is how recruiting goes.

Praying we get a 2nd or 3rd priority castoff from OSU in year 4.

Why don't we have the #1 or #2 LB already committed?

You have to build sir. Y’all want to skip steps so bad but that’s not how it works. Of course it’s another level to go in recruiting but we not there yet

That particular recruitment was a lost cause and could spot that from a mile away. Quickly move on after that and recruit someone else just as hard

Of course we have to build.

WHAT HAVE WE BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS?

Does that not count as building? It's 3 years of Mario and his staff NOT BUILDING.

Building has to have a start and stop date.

Nearly every other Div 1 school has better LBs than Miami, and Miami has one of the best NIL programs in the nation and Mario, who is supposed to be a top recruiter.

Mario should have had a top level defense by now, and he has a worse product than when he got here.

It takes time to build an elite team especially when you have been bad for 20+ years. We have brought in some talent at LB. A kid like popo had Ohio st, bama, and Texas going after him. Obviously we need more but they aren’t just going to all of a sudden start pulling 5 stars left and right

There's different groups of fans of this program.

There one group that has low standards. They're fine with mediocrity. They're fine with losing to GT. They're fine with not ever making it to the Conference Championship. They're fine with a 30-year rebuild.

You and alot of the other bozos in this thread are in that group.

Yeah man.

5-7 Miami beat out Bama and Texas for a prized recruit who can't start on the worst defense in the conference.
 
How long have some of you followed recruiting? UF isn't getting all these recruits everyone seems worried about. Paying good money for visits and the recruit claiming on the follow up to their visit, UF now is in their top 2 or in it now is your normal visit BS. Having money to spend could definitely help with legacies (unfortunately) and maybe flip someone. I expect them to lose big at home this week and the build up to immediately turn back into, Fire Billy again. They will finish 6-6 with 1 win against a team with a winning record. 2 weeks until signing day, Go Canes.
