So far Mario added an OT in Bell (JUCO so I consider that portal more than Class). Starting Center. 2 DT's (one should start), and a Safety (unknown if he'll start, but young and can battle) So, that's 5 dudes so far.... Now as DMoney just said and cribs alluded that spots are tight and we'll be more selective on these remaining 3-5 guys. We know the CB (memnon approved), D, just named the two WR's that can be named.... We're looking at 8-11 portal guys in total this time around....The last two years he wasn't shy about getting about the same.. Sooo where is this new fake news that Mario hates/ignores the portal????

Furthermore, I don't believe the staff takes him unless he understands they may pursue someone else, which is fine because he's enough of an athlete to have position versatility.

May this dude just wants to be a Cane, believes in himself and is willing to go compete for what he wants.

I'll give Mario credit for his HS recruiting. Two very good classes back to back. However, his portal recruiting outside of OL sucks ****. Not sure what the **** he's doing different, but we've gotten our *** kicked since he's been here. Manny navigated it better than him. Embarrassing.

You can sell hopes and dreams to high school kids easier. Not so much to grown men looking to make the NFL.

I would usually come in here and say that you’re crazy…but I agree with you.

It’s more than recruiting. You also have to ******* WIN.

I just don’t see the arm strength to make some of the throws we’re asking our QB to make.
