Both in and out of state, this is the most loaded class with familial ties to Miami since I’ve started following recruiting. About a dozen 4 stars with an athletic UMiami relative-alum or deep relationship (i.e. Fitzpatrick at STA) to a staff member.

Having a great DL is enormous help to your back 7-

Totally agree. I thought he made a good start in the 2024 class. But Blount looks like he's sticking at SDE for now, and Jones is more of a developmental guy that I expected. So all we've got is Scott, who could be a good one but that's just not enough.

I really wish Scroggins had convinced Griffin to flip to us this past season. He would have paired perfectly with Simpson. As it is we are paper thin at DT.

Yup, lightfoot should have seen some good mins too but we had some High ticket transfers like Barron and Alston clogging mins who should have been double digit sack guys for what they got

I like that they didn’t go that route this year and will let the young talent prove their potential
