How many get shirts this year and how many will be contributors next year after another year in U-Tough?

Gadbois
Isidora
Briscoe

O"Donnell
Blue
Dortch
Hope

15 redshirts (3 QBs).

From everything I've heard is that we have 3 available QB's at all times.

That would mean Crow or Dewey is not

Having them available doesn't have anything to do with a RS. Anybody who hasn't played the magic number of games is able to get a shirt. How many snaps have you seen Crow or Dewey take this season?

I wonder if we have another Eddie Johnson or two in our midst.

If Golden wants to succeed here, he better.

If you look at the kids he's brought in, you've had some early contributors. Flowers, Duke, Scott, Perryman, EJ, Bush, Howard, McCord, Pierre - who am I forgetting?

He seems to be able to develop talent. I'm HOPING and expecting a **** load of his guys to all make a huge leap physically and mentally and start to dominate this roster.

And, that magic number of games would be 1.

Gunter is a sophmore, Gabe terry, Earl Moore is providing good depth for a true freshamn, Jenkins is starting to look good at S,

Dorsett. Terry and Jenkins on special teams.

There you go. He's finding some kids that can play ball. They all just need to develop, the one thing we haven't seen at Miami in over a decade. Will someone actually improve during their time here.

If he can do that, we will be alright. I trust his eye for talent, save Corey King.

The medical hardship is often used as a way around that and that magic number is 30% of the games played that season.

I have confidence in this staff to develop players.

Look at the magic they've worked with Shammin' specials in their short time here. Imagine what they can do with a group of their own guys untainted.

I completely agree. Also look at what they did with two star players at Temple.

Bodes well for the incoming freshmen too. We won't be forced to play as many if they aren't ready.

It's going to be hard to keep AJL, Burns, and Carter off the field. This class may be small but they are going to have plenty of talent. Going to be interesting to see who's stepped up with the freshmen who have shirted this year as well.

Completely agree. It's a small class but it's busting at the seams with talent. It's just nice that they won't have to be as forced as this past class was.

It's amazing what Golden has done with this roster in two recruiting classes. I think this class will be the icing on the cake and the next class will be for reloading. The future is looking good for Canes football. We'll be oozing talent like days of old very soon.

Generally, I agree that this class won't be as forced, but there are definitely some that will need to grow up fast and contribute.

Agreed. We won't need the immediate starters as much but we will absolutely need some for depth. There's also quite a few guys that will fight for a starting job as soon as they hit campus. We won't have the EE's this year outside of AJL so far but that didn't seem to matter this year.
