A previous poster made a very salient point. Some staff/personalities are wrong fit/wrong time (Bellichek Browns, Carroll everywhere but USC/Seattle, and on and on). Those same cats are right fit/right time at other spots.

Butch DAW GAWD is no exception. He's dominated at some, not so much at others. Who knows his level of support at FIU now? Maybe he is doing less with more, maybe more with less?

Regardless, what he put together at a Miami sanction-shackled program is not only impressive, but legendary. I do believe, returning to Miami (not gonna happen), he has more gas in the tank than some give credit for--he could put on the field a very competitve team given a period of time.
