Allan Haye and Tyler Johnson bc T. Lewis is an upgrade over him and we already have Chase Smith as well.
We aren’t dropping a Killian kid that’s Jaquan’s lil bro who’s a legit D1 dude.
I’m with you on Haye though. People here keep saying he’s a lock but a 5.7 40 at 6’1 296 is bad. He not very athletic and undersized. Our DT is stacked so why take a spot if it’s that tight? I haven’t watched a lot of tape but the highlights aren’t impressive. He’s the most obvious drop candidate IMO. We have two spots but really need a CB, RB, elite LB, and QB. My guess is he’s out depending how many of l Brown, Lewis, Cooper, Garcia, Jennings, or Vand wants in. Some sleepers could come up soon. If we hang around or beat Clemson all bets are off.

No insider. But it's clear to me that Collins is the one that's under the microscope if we need another scholly. The crazy thing (crazy in the good sense) is that we're hunting QBs, CBs, LBs, RBs, WRs and even a couple linemen still. This staff isn't going to leave one spot on the table for a Randy or Al Golden special. They have backup plans to their backup plans, which is the way it should be.

Me, personally, I'd find room for 3 schollys for sure: 1 GT QB, best available CB, and Lewis. I'd also have heart-to-heart conversations with Burns to see if he's a certainty to stay even at his snap counts, because if he is even remotely likely to transfer, we need to find room for Amari, as well. You can't run a practice with only 3 scholarship backs, and if any get injured, the team is in trouble.

So if we only have two to give, you need to find one or two more from current verbals depending on where Burns' head is at. I suppose that we could fall back on Brashard Smith at RB. But I'd only consider that if all the verbals are exceeding expectations both on and off field, and we just don't want to ease anyone else out.
Unless Burns got his degree, he does not factor into this. You don't get relief on ICs for transfers out. We didn't get one for Cager or Martin or anyone that transferred out as an underclassman. That's why it's become hard to get up to the 85 limit.

To get more, we have to convince someone to blue shirt (which may be possible because visits are out) or the NCAA needs to up the IC counters to help teams deal with the pandemic.

I would try to talk someone to take a blue shirt and enroll in classes a day late. This is the year to do it.

Dropping a kid from Chaminade is not an option.

Aren't they going to have to lift the 85 number? If this is a free year, how many seniors will stay on?

They are not lifting the 85 number (which is not even an issue for us).

Next year, all "seniors" will not count against the 85. They will be exempt from being "counters" against the 85.

By 2022, we will all have to be back down to 85.

This is another reason why I never trusted IVins.
I believe he came out and said that he had heard from credible sources that he had visited Auburn multiple times throughout the season even after he said that he had shut it down but he never said sht to anyone or asked height about it.
he said that he was told by the Auburn 247 reporter that happened AFTER the visit pic went public. Ivins never knew anything until the public found out from the kids social media post.

The kids not planning on EE are the likely candidates. Makes the most sense since they weren't coming in until the summer anyway.

And the kicker - especially if they can't work anything else out with him. Looks like he is back at Chaminade now, too. That means no early graduation.

Everyone counting Daniels needs to slow down , AM is very much a threat. He’s very close with their staff. FSU provably makes a late push when they finally realize Thad is sticking. But Am is the one to worry about.
Only way we lose this kid if we push is cause he likes the AM depth chart a little better.

Yes sir.

As you know I’ve mentioned they’re trying to work something out with the kicker. Manny wants and thinks he can get 25.
What about Butchs old scheme of putting some of the speedsters on track scholarships to free up more open spots? Wouldn’t Curtis be the perfect candidate for that option?

But the best combo of safety’s in the country in Williams and kam. With the most freaky two jumbo athletes in the country in Williams and chase smith
Agree, and those guys will cover up a lot of deficiencies In the secondary From the cornerbacks.
