Oh boy, hoping Swagger sees this.

When you talk about SFL being better than an entire state, I'm not sure about that as far as teams go. Athlete wise, I would give S FL the edge for sure, but the top teams in TX would run a train on all but a handful of teams at most. I'm not going to even count STA either, that's a mercenary squad, not a team. Coaching is also much better with advanced systems in that state.
Agree that the Teams, facility, stadiums, weight rooms, are all better in TX.

But if we put together 2 All Star teams with one team from S. FL and one team from TX the team from FL wins 9 out 10 games played.

Yes athlete wise i tend to agree with south Florida having a slight edge. But Texas football as a whole TO ME is better as far as teams, coaching.. etc

Bro your talking about a top 10 player in the country... no one has a defense full of James Williams. You have to build an entire roster, and unfortunately we can’t just can’t just “create a player” for every roster spot.

Players like James Williams only come around every so often, that wasn’t a great point.
I expect top players I grew up watching the 2000 canes so I'm spoiled

we shall see sir and HS stats dont mean anything to me. U dont rush for that many yards let alone in SFLA (Yearby) and turn fast in college. And sfla is better then texas football lets be real here. So HS doesnt mean **** u evaluate the prospect based on the eyeballs and potential, its questionable when none of those big 12 squads give u a pass especially Herman and Jimbo so ill stick to what my eyes see.
You’re sick if you think that lol if you wanna say south Florida has slightly better athletes then I tend to agree but we can send out top 10 teams regardless of division into south Florida and run y’all out the stadium

Not sure bout this take! Cuz texas is gonna. Have sum qb who is gonna be a stud. Texas has better coaching and fundamentals den fla.

Speed only works if it is pointed in the right direction. If the kids aren't going to get worked by misdirection plays then I am all for it but they won't do us any good running really fast in the wrong direction.

I am as skeptical as anybody about our LB talent and coaching but I am not on team throw the fast guys out there because they have to be better. LB is not a position that can be played by virtue of skill alone. To be a quality LB you have to be smart and physical first. Only once you have those two skills does speed become an asset.
I'll also add to that, instincts is the greatest tool a linebacker can have. I'll take a physical guy who has a nose to the football and is always around the ball over a track star posing as a linebacker who is afraid of contact and can't diagnose anything.

Almost edited the post to say speed and instincts make a LB next level. So yes agree once a LB knows where to be and is strong enough to get off a block and make the play, next level speed AND instincts makes them elite.
