Under the current rules, with no other signee/counter manipulation, it is 2. 22 commits, and 1 blueshirt (Jarrid Williams).

There MIGHT be some back-end manipulation (think about it, NONE of these 22 kids have taken their "official" visits, so it might be possible to blueshirt some high-end kids).

I'd love to see some relief on transfers-in, and then maybe we wouldn't have to use an IC on Williams.

We shall see.
Thank you! I am just catching up in the thread and was wondering how any of this could be possible.

They’ll face some tough decisions but if Brooks is a real possibility we can’t turn away a south Florida 5 star WR. We gotta stop letting them go and build that wall. They’ll do whatever to take him
They are recruiting like the 25 IC rule will be suspended for the year, which would be amazing. With no inside knowledge at all, Davis seems like one possible decommit (not drop) given where he is from and the position switch. There are not many other names on the commit list that seem like either decommits or process guys.

The staff loves haye, not happening.
Regarding Chaminade - is there anything creative that could possibly be done with little Borregalas? Keep Jose for another year? Unless other players getting dropped (3 spots open, I think).

Probably an unpopular opinion, but if we had to drop commitments to add T2 and/or Brooks... I'm looking at Davis and Arroyo. Both are OOS kids that we really don't have established pipelines to the schools or areas versus our kids in SOFLO and both positions are pretty stacked.

I understand but man we would be nuts to drop arroyo. I love Brantley but arroyo in this offense is going to go nuts. They both will but we can’t lose him. He should be a 5 star TE

There will be some tough decisions, but we need Arroyo.

Ur right. Very unpopular. Arroyo is the goods and he shut it down before we showed how good the offense was. Respect it. We keep him

Timing will be everything with this class. If some of these bigger fish want in they’ll have to do it soon. Momentum was crazy with us before the season even started and now we look pretty good.. the class could see a minor makeover before December

In my OPINION, here is the BEST CASE scenario, and I have put it in a ROUGH priority order:

QB - King decides to stay. If Perry also stays, you don't have to take a HS QB so badly, and you could take a portal player. HOPEFULLY, the NCAA will un-stuck the Portal and allow Division I-A programs to take one transfer IN for every transfer OUT, maybe up to 5 players. That's up to 600 kids worth of movement. I'd be OK with using one of our remaining ICs for a HS QB, but I'd much prefer to not use an IC on this position this year, as long as we don't sacrifice depth.

CB - Markevious King chooses UM...AND...we pay $300K to get Marshall back. I'd be OK with using our two remaining ICs for blue-chip cornerbacks.

RB - everyone stays healthy, Franklin plays well as a true freshman, other multi-position players fill in, our QB also gets some good yardage. I'd be OK with NOT taking a second RB.

LB - IF IF IF we could get IC relief for transfers, and Jarrid Williams doesn't have to count against 2022, I'd prefer to get T2 first, Jennings second. I could only see us using 2 ICs on LBs if we had a combo of "transfer relief" and we get someone to blueshirt, perhaps the younger Borregales if his brother stays (and, yes, I know he might be able to enroll in January, but let's keep an open mind).

DE/DT - unless it's Maason Smith, I can't possibly see how we have the room for more DLs, given that our only two verbals for 2022 are DEs. Or if Savion bolts.

WR - I could only see us having room if Malik Curtis somehow parted ways (no matter whose decision it is), but I don't see this happening at this point.

I would drop at least 15 commits before I let Arroyo go

Drop a highly rated 4 star TE. Sure. Sounds like a great idea.
