JUCO DT... Article on ESPN insider says after he committed to Baylor he got an offer from Miami. He may have something to consider here because his wife is getting looked at hard for Volleyball by Miami.


On Baylor-

“It’s close to home, and they have a good, strong football program,” said Brooks, who is looking to be a nose tackle. “It would be beneficial for me there if I wanted to go to the NFL.

“I think they liked my size, my strength and my ability to close the pocket. I would say I’m a very big run-stopper. It’s like a closed gate when I’m on the line.”

exactly. if you dont think golden has the whole athletic dept under his thumb you are sorely mistaken. we will get one if he wants one bad enough.

Darius Smith was a filler, nothing more, nothing less. He commit in June well after NSD.
