Tennessee wants Bama (Game Thread)

When’s the last time they didn’t have 3 first round receivers, and 3 first round DB’s on the field at one time?

I know it’s a “revenge year” where Saban normally shines, but they don’t have the elite of the elite guys they normally do.
They dont look like Bama at a few spots , they have a Vandy transfer playing Tackle. Nice player but that’s crazy.

I mean this post is an abortion since Huepel was trash his first year and you’re praising him while simultaneously not giving Mario the same amount of time.

How‘s it feel to find out that the post you though was so clever is actually just a ****** contradiction?
It’s wild how certain groups make these post in Every single thread and it to comes back to…

Crying that (insert preferred choice of HC and OC) weren’t hired.

Nah he’s legit

Look at Tua in the nfl. Brees too. Just because you have a coach doesn’t mean you can make those throws they make

I believe in Hooker at least I think he’s really good from what I’ve seen
Epitome of what nfl wants now at QB
6’4” athletic w enough arm talent

Tennessee still has a massive talent disadvantage to Bama. Not even in the same universe. And Heupel had a QB who was horrendous at VT. The talent at Tennessee didn't improve substantially between his first and second season.

If we played Bama next year, do you honestly think Mario Cristobal has the coaching chops to take this UM team and push Bama to the limit? As another poster observed, Heupel won FOUR more games than his predecessor in year 1. UM won 7 games last year and it looks like we'll be lucky to win 6 in Cristobals 1st season. Tennessee took a huge step forward in year 1, UM has taken a huge step backwards in year 1. I don't see a contradiction.
