Golden didnt offer quincy as a cb. Every since then chad seemed to have a problem with miami and quincy dogs the program as much as he can.

Yeah. It's amazing how they hold a grudge against Miami because of Al Golden. Never understood why this applied to Marco Wilson. But Chad's a punk for letting it happen and not talking sense to them.

I now put American Heritage at the same place as Dwyer - don't bother recruiting from there. Those kids are front runners. Plain and simple. And even then, to go to UF of all places. I could understand FSU, but UF!?!?!?!

Chad Wilson is a full blown gator fam since his son committed there. He doesn't hate against um but u believe he is in different and also caught up on the sec..sec bs
 
Idk if this supposed grudge the Wilson's have against Miami is accurate. Maybe it is for Quincy but I'm not seeing it with Chad or Marco. Quincy grew up a diehard Miami fan and wanted to go there and Golden's staff didn't recruit him early on and when they finally did offered him at safety because they didn't think he was a corner. You can understand why he might be bitter. But late in Marco's recruitment insiders at UF thought he was going to Miami because he had apparently said he didn't wanna go to the same school as Quincy and saw an opportunity for PT at Miami, so I don't really see any beef there with him. As to the other Heritage kids Miami didn't recruit Houston and I believe only started recruiting Slaton as of late.
 
How did Richt pull guys from Heritage when Rumph was the coach but can't pull guys now that he's the head coach of Miami?!

This is just getting ridiculous, our recruiting staff needs an overhaul. It doesn't make any sense how uf can not beat any other big time school on the recruiting trail but can consistently get recruits that we are in battles with them for

Well, we're looking at Rumph right now that's for sure. Dungans especially if he can't bring in 2 of 3 with Smith, Pouncey and Thomas.

It's everyone outside of Thomas brown and coach kool. Searels locked up donaldson so I guess he is doing good and looked to have found a gem in gaynor. Banda is doing okay but again not an elite recruiting job.. rumph for how much flack he gets having bandy committed, deejay to play for him at cb and most likely dean flipping he is set for next year with also maybe Edwards at the end.... no one knows what's happening at heritage but it looks bad for rumph but point remains he's bringing in talented kids at HIS position. That can be attributed to everyone but the biggest thing is that both of those kids never have been high on Miami so it is what it is. Dugans is doing an awful job, worst to date on staff tbh but he has a month to change that.. richt jr locked up perry and wheldon 2 good gets good job.... Hartley is doing an awful job imo too

Did Richt get a ton of kids from Heritage though? There was only two on the roster, Sonny and McKenzie. And Miami didn't offer McKenzie so he beat Miami out for one kid. That's really not a big deal.

Oh yea Marshall Morgan. I don't think Miami was ever after him either though. Point being there wasn't a hoard of Heritage players going to UGA than Richt was beating out Miami for.

He doesn't really that school just doesnt like UM its another dwyer, what heritage kids have we got? That wasnt a walk on?
 
Another factor kids just want to get away too from south Florida. A lot of kids are being recruited by that pitch from coaches. You absolutely have kids who want to go to school away from home. And in that case it is what it is

Broward kids specifically they can care less bout miami in general
