2026 Tedarius Hughes 3* Safety from South Dade

FSU commit Tedarius Hughes visited for the Cookout, multiple spring practices and the spring game, at least one game during the season and now the FSU game. Frank Tucker retweeted his visit announcement so he appears to be someone the staff is seriously recruiting. UM offer came at the cookout after he committed to FSU.

Rising Stars has him as the top SFL Safety in the 26 cycle

Anyone know which game he visited earlier in the season? He's not in my in season visit list, don't see anything in his X timeline or 247 timeline.

He's gotten hundreds of kids into college & given exposure to thousands. With the college prep academy he's even making sure kids are eligible these days (including current/former Cane signees.) He's like a black Blustein but better.

Like embarrassingly off base.

He also tried to tell all his Facebook followers that... if your kid doesn't have offers by his Sophomore year, he's not going to end up D1 blah blah blah.
And when I politely corrected him and referenced some of my kids who got late offers, he tried to tell me (and his followers) that I'm just a bum high school coach who doesn't know what he's talkin about... then proceeded to block me before I could respond.

Apparently he didn't like being corrected. 🤷🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️ No clue brother.
Maybe he felt like I was trying to 'one up' him on his own page in front of his trusted followers, but I was polite about it.

The amount of kids that I've had get late offers is pretty long. Even a few of my kids in the NFL were late bloomers in high school and didn't get their offers until their junior spring/senior fall.

I don't think we should be perpetuating myths that a kids D1 chances are over if he doesn't have major offers by his Junior year. We shouldn't be putting that into kids or parents heads because it's not even remotely true.

Nothing against guys like Blustein, Jerry, FootballVille, etc... but they are MEDIA GUYS. They don't coach, they know very little ball, and when parents start trusting their word over coaches who have been in the game for multiple decades, we have a problem.
