Teams that recruited the best in multiple states in 2021

Well it has already been said that it was subjective. See my other post on blue chip players and where they signed. As one mentioned in a post, A&M signed 7 of the top 20 prospects in Texas and Bama 4 so I call bullsh^t on the accuracy of the post.
Two of the top 5 including the top OL and RB is pretty **** strong. Not that it matters whether you say they beat A&M or not. A&M did fine, but it’s their state. Alabama is the guy up the street who rolled into their kitchen, ate their breakfast, took their g/f for a spin in the garage, and left boot marks on the carpet and tire burns on the driveway.

Do you feel they did the same to UM?

Somewhat. They clearly did to UF and Florida.

Relative to UM, they took Brooks and Turner. But Brooks was at IMG so not sire how to count him.

The rest of their FL haul wasn’t from areas UM should view as their kitchen, iirc. But anyhow UM did better overall in Florida than any Florida school and arguably than anyone else. I don’t like counting IMG kids, in any case.

Does Dallas Turner even fit our scheme? I would count Brooks as a L. They got him out of Dade to IMG to keep him. 11 to 6 tho? I don't think it's close. Miami owned the state of Florida, but you can say bama beat the brakes off of fsu and uf. 2 of top 3 players in the state went to Miami. At $ positions. Let's see how this new staff does in 22 tho

According to 247, Alabama signed the top 2 players in Florida, 3 of the top 7 and 7 of the top 14. Also according to 247, UM signed 2 of the top 4 kids in Florida, but just 2 of the top 20 as well.

I keep getting told on this site that 247 is the gold standard of recruiting sites. Whether it is or isn’t, it’s objective and not orange and green glasses biased. So 247 says you’re wrong.

Did Turner jump Taylor in the composites? Who else in Florida was rated higher than those 2? Again, 11 blue chip players to 6. I mean do you like Bama **** in your mouth or you just like to argue?

This dude says 6 and you're saying 7 @Ethnicsands

Just to debunk more... according to 247 composites, we have the 2nd and 3rd best player signed to us with Turner being number 1 going to bama. So two of the top 3 players in Florida to the good guys.

Oh if you went just by 247 and not composites then the #1 player in the state overall and top 3 player nationally went to Miami

I skipped Latham since he was IMG. I'm not sure where he is from, maybe you know? If he is from Florida then we can give them that

You sound defeated when you start talking about putting penises in mouths. That’s all on you and no need to share. I’m here to discuss football and the 247 rankings are what they are. Sorry
if they’re different from someone else’s
view but this board always tells me to go with 247.

As I mentioned above, 247 includes IMG kids, so you can think what you want about that (and don’t tell us if you’re thinking about **** in your mouth).

For the record, their top kid on florida is the OT from IMG (Latham).

Again, Alabama signed 7 of the top 14 kids in Florida per 247. Don’t blame me for saying so.

You don't even follow the recruiting services and you said yourself you didn't count IMG, but when it comes to trying to pump bama up then you are all for it lmao. I don't waste my time on ppl like you. Xavier Thomas is from Anderson, SC right down the road from me. He was listed as a Florida prospect bc he went to school there for 1 year. Good luck using that metric.

you’re bitterly defeated and sound like you’re drowning. i’ve never said i don’t follow them. i read them all. i just don’t put faith on them or view them as particularly accurate. directionally right on average? sure.

as for counting img, I did say I exclude it - for non-FL kids. brooks id count, e.g. But that’s me. i didn’t make the states chart that showed alabama winning florida, and you seem to think there’s no way to defend that chart. you’re wrong and it’s easy and obvious. and frankly, if i was doing a general national chart i’d do the same thing they did and count img as florida because it’s too complicated to count those kids back to some other state.

people get so caught up in trying to give ourselves recruiting trophies they lose sight of the obvious. Ignoring IMG is somewhat sensible if you’re trying to understand how UM coaches are doing in Florida recruiting. But that’s just a narrow topic in recruiting. If you’re trying to answer the question who got the most top talent out of florida, just going by 247, you’d be credible to say Alabama.

Lmao no, you're just dumb as ****. "Eff the recruiting services, I don't count img." Now you're trying to use both in your argument. It will still be 11 blue chips to 7 blue chips. Hardly a sign of being outrecruited in the state of Florida, but hey do you.

the whole ‘blue chips’ concept is stupid if you’re debating who won florida. the best kid in the state and some average 4* aren’t comparable kids. ‘blue chip’ defined as 4 or 5* kids was created to talk about overall roster quality over time. it’s imperfect but somewhat sensible as a measure of 85 kids. it wasn’t created to tell you who won one specific year in florida, and it doesn’t. you sound desperate trying to jump the 11 v 6. i don’t know who was excluded for the 6 vs 7 topic but obviously alabama also took top kids in texas, alabama and elsewhere. Of course they’re not going to take half their class from florida. So of course UM will end up with more florida talent if you draw the cutoff line for talent further down.

i personally don’t care what you think on this topic or whose **** you gargle. you whine about a chart in some article, and i explained why it’s not an unreasonable chart, whether you like the taste of it or not.
