Team has better leaders this year

Real leaders reveal themselves upon leading others through adversity and to victory....

We haven't had any proven leaders on this team in over a decade.

I am however cautiously optimistic that we might have some on this team.

A decade? Really?

Mike James was the definition of a leader. What about Brandon Linder?

Sean Spence?

I think the issue is not leaders, its who the leaders are and who is following. I think every position group needs the best player in the group to also be the best leader of the group. Players know who the best is, and they follow that lead. If that player is shooting the **** in the weight room the others in that group will as well. I think that was the problem with the last two qbs. Good players, good leaders on the field, but were they off the field? Were they getting others to work extra hard? were they pushing guys to get better. Because that is really important from a QB.

I feel like right now, we have a bunch of those guys on the OL. I think the LB's are obviously being led! The Dbs too. Not sure about the DL, OL. I know the WR's and Rb's are doing their thing. With Duke, Coley and Dorsett. We really need a leader to step up at QB and be the overall leader of the team.
