Good luck to Gus and Courtel at Rutgers. I saw a little bit of Rutgers against PSU this year, and they will be standouts if they go there. Good luck to David in the league. I have no doubt he'll be the next star UM TE in the NFL.

Willis will play in the league eventually. Glad that he made the correct decision to stay. As far as DL attrition is concerned, down the road could Demetrius Jackson slide inside if we needed him too?

I have the same feeling about Homer that I had about AR...he is going to be good...really good. That gives us Walton, Choc, Homer, and A-Mac in the back field.
 
People are really reaching for reasons Njoku shouldn't go pro, but ask yourselves, is that because you really want him on this team in 2017, or do you actually think there is a big hole in his game that gets exposed at pro day or the combine?

He is a tremendous asset for us and would be a W/L type guy on this 2017 roster, but if he get information that his floor is the second round, he absolutely 100% should enter the draft.

It doesn't matter if we message board scouts don't think he blocks well enough or has dropped too many balls at Green Tree, if the people signing his check think he is a 2nd rounder as a TE, good luck DNj, you've been an awesome Cane.

Losing Gus and Courtel isn't horrible but you'd like to have experienced depth on the bench. We saw how quick a rash of injuries can deplete perceived depth this year.

Njoku is going to have to blow up the combine. His body of work in terms of production has been good but not great. Very inconsistent hands. He could go 1st round or fall to the 3rd or 4th.

None of the defensive tackles has any business leaving early. As a unit, they were solid but nobody's individual play really blew me away. Norton and McIntosh are good players, Willis played like he was injured most of the season and would be a tiny NFL DT and Moten is meh.
 
The only underclassman that should be declaring is Yearby. Njoku isn't ready. I don't think he gets picked before the 4th.

Kid plays through the echo of the whistle.....then waits 5 seconds.....then does a bellysplash on the pile. I think that'd go over well in the NFL.

Good lord! Why do people keep saying this. As many targets as he had all year he maybe dropped 4 passes. Good grief.

Good luck on everyone transferring or going to the NFL early.... Its normal and isnt a big deal, the only way the win/loss total will improve is if Brad Kaaya leaves with David Njoku. So I won't get too excited until we find out what he will decide to do.

Other than that this team is definitely on the rise.... Hopefully we see some new faces at old positions to go along with the top talent we already have and we can start winning the games that decide an 8 win season or a 10 win season.
