TE prospects

Charles Njoku is also available at 6'5 200+. Tell him to add 40-50lbs or you won't play.

Eddie Neal is available as a JUCO TE. Give up 2.5 spots for Evan to start at OT. LOL

Charles Njoku: I'm committed to Missouri. Why are you even talking to me? Wait. Do you think I'm my brother Evidence?
Evidence Njoku: I'm a Wide Receiver and I came here to play wide receiver. Why are you even asking me to put on unnecessary weight? Wait. Do you think I'm Anthony Chickillo?
Anthony Chickillo: Wait. Is Golden still in charge there?

I have no idea what we are waiting on there. This guy should have been on our radar since the Opening.

Ran a 4.59 with 40 inch vertical at 6'5.

when you brought him up on the board i was a fan right away. Kid is alot like Mallory. Considering his athleticism and that the state doesnt produce te's at that clip not sure what the wait was. Especially considering they are/were hanging their hat on a kid from Lakeland. Im starting to think they dont understand the demographics of recruiting in the state as of yet.

0L- Kingsley and Tarquin- A Jacksonville kid and an Ocala kid...you have to think in your head if UF comes in play those 2 would be swept away
Lakeland is also Gator Country....I'm actually shocked we had Cleveland Reed commit.

I dont know alot of questionable stuff going on.

I'm really not worried about not getting a tight end this class, obviously it would be good to get one but not super important. we just need to make sure that we get two good TEs in 2020 like we did in 2018. Also I like that kids Sam Snyder, Trevon Morgan, and obviously Keon, but i doubt he comes here.

Lol nah, the problem was def qb play...Offensive scheme doesn't get a pass, but if you don't think QB play was bad most of the time, awful others...And that WR/OL both need some help too. Not sure anyone can help you.
It helps if you have time and your receivers catch the ball

I think you could ride with Hodges as your lone freshman TE in a pinch.

However, I think Miami needs to go JUCO or Grad Transfer at this point. Preferably scouting someone thats more of an inline TE thats a + blocker out the gate.

Would check in on Austin Griffin and go from there. Decommited from Louisville...been flirting with Boise and UCLA. I would be on'em and kick a tire or two.

Not sure who is available in the grad transfer market, but blocking type TE surely could be acquired through a grad transfer.

I dont think we need a Juco. I think Polendey and Irvin are good enough for inline work moving forward.

I think when we lose out on Zip...we should be on:

Trevon Morgan and Konner Fox

We just gotta agree to disagree on a JUCO. Right now, I don't have faith in Polendey or Irvin. They are warm bodies until they prove otherwise, IMO. Even if they are something, they need someone behind'em to push'em. No more freebies to snaps.

I've grown oddly intrigued by the kid from Cardinal Gibbons. Not for what he is right now, but idk, I can just see him becoming that 6'5" 265+ in-line guy that plays like a #2 TE for you. Block forward player.

I'm hyperfocused on that aspect considering A) our run game isn't great mostly due to OL and B) we legit ran out of TEs by the 10th game of the season and we had to use Hillery heavy for run packages with in-line TEs (and he wasn't bad, tbh). I am not sold on Polendey being that guy right now.
