You gotta think those fans are finally on to that bull**** 247 is selling. They’ve seem to have had enough. It’s always money when it’s Miami, yet always love of the school when it’s FSU…. Funny considering it always feels like Noles players are the ones airing dirty laundry every offseason upset about their NIL deals.

I want to see them get punked on the field by Memphis and then read from one of their fanboys (Blostein, Sonnone, or Langston) about how this or that recruit wanted too much $$$ and FSU wasn’t interested resetting the market.

Followed by a bunch them cancelling their $10 TBE contribution.

I agree with you 100 and I hate the bias which is that kids ONLY come to UM for the money.

But you know what, we should own it. Yes we have more money than FSU, and if a little thing like making money is as important to you as it is to everyone else in the U.S., then come to UM. I find it humorous that no athlete was ever criticized for making as much money as possible until NIL. When all of a sudden that is somehow less pure motivation than “love of school ___”?

Does anyone choose to work at IBM over Google because they just love IBM and always dreamed of working for IBM?
You can make that same comparison in any industry and everyone says make all you can; except college sports. It is an absolutel BS double standard. I hope every college athlete makes every cent they can make just like everyone else in this country has a right ot do.

So let’s own it. The bank is open in Coral Gables.

The funniest thing is the number for these NIL deals is populated AFTER the love for the school. Which is why recruiting still matters, money is part of the recruitment like playing time. “Hey coach Cristobal, I really want to come to UM, FSU is offering 75K, if you can get me that 70-80K range then Im a cane”

Funny misconception that 1) players just go to the school offering biggest bag & 2) a school would be dumb enough to shell out six figures for a kid who doesn’t really want to be there.

If it was all about money then Bain would be at Auburn right now and Francis would be in Knoxville.
