2025 Taren Hedrick 3* OL from Naples

Of course but last year it was all projects as we strike out on all our big national targets and certainly this year it is shaping to be that way. Where are the top OL recruits standing in line to play for the best OL staff in the nation according to canes fans?
A lot less top OL to go around this cycle. Two years ago when we killed it the volume was heavy which helps a lot. But it's early. This time last year everyone was panicking about d line and we closed pretty well. I'm gonna let it play out.

I have zero worries about OL recruiting and while that was true last year, I don’t think that’s the case this year, atleast not according to rankings. Last year at this time there was zero 5 star OL with Baker being the highest in the low 40’s. That cycle ended with three 5 stars (Seaton, Baker, Thompson) and 10 guys inside the top 100.

I don’t exactly remember how many were 5 stars at this time in the 2023 but I know for sure Proctor, Francis, Sampson and Heard were 5 stars early in the cycle. That class ended with five 5 stars with Freeling along with those 4. That class ended with 13 guys in top 100.

Obviously this may change before the end of cycle but there’s currently Five 5 Stars in this class with a 6th ranked at 32 overall which would make him a 5 star at end of cycle and 14 guys ranked in the Top 100.

There may be a host of reason why we’re not in it for a lot of the top guys but the volume is there. It appears to me we’re allocating our budget to land high level Centers and Guards (who tend to be lower ranked) while taking more developmental types at Tackle.
