Talent level on defense

we can all throw darts at everyone but do we really believe our current roster is full of talent. First and foremost is our inability to redshirt the majority of our incoming freshman. This should tell all that our upperclassman are sub-standard. Secondly, with the clouds hanging over our heads the last couple of years, our ability to sign the needed talent levels on the defense has been greatly reduced. The only talent we have on defense are some young DB's and Mcord/Muhammed!!!!! Our needs are on the D-line and LB's.Think back to the day and what are front 7's used to be. It all starts there!!!!!!!!

Maybe if you use more exclamation points, your post will be better.

How about this: if you really believe it is talent, please explain to me, from a schematic standpoint, why every single eligible receiver who plays against us has a 15 yard cushion around him (whether it's the FB, WR, TE, etc). Answer that question if you can.
 
Stop with this talent ****. We have enough talent to be able to shut down gt,wf,unc and vt. It doesn't matter who we bring in if they still make players play this D. We don't have depth but they refuse to play grace because he is not 235+, that is not his game. Give carter a chance can't be worse than highsmith.

Duke held them to 10 points. R we that much less talented then Duke in year 3 with Golden while being in the richest area in the country for recruiting? If that's true then Golden is the worst recruiter in the country.

This excuse works against the FSUs of the world (and I think it is valid against top tier teams), but while our talent is not near what it was in the early 2000s, you can't tell me that it's not on par or better than the Dukes and Wake Forrests of the world. Our Defense = Florida's offense.
 
Beamer wont admit it but this was his worst team in YEARS!! YEARS!!! No talent at WR. (NFL talent that is) No 1000 yard rusher. And a patched up Oline and they STILL dominated us! Smh. This loss had nothing to do with talent.

Duke has a competent HC.......

Who actually knows how to put his players in position to stop the other team.....
 
Sure it's not the most talented group. But guys are being put in a position to fail. Most defensive coaches try to play to the strengths of their players, ours do the opposite. Are we really expecting Perryman to cover a WR 1 on 1 in space and succeed? Some of the matchup a ****** offense like VTech exploited were a joke, you had to laugh at how bad it was

No team, including VT last night, runs anything that complex against us. FSU was competing simple routes with no one around for 15 yards. Wake was doing the same.

I've been watching that shallow cross be WIDE open since the NC game. That's not talent, its the design of the defense. Its been going on longer, but that's when I noticed it
 
Anybody who still thinks our downfall these past 3-4 weeks is not 100% because of our scheme has their head in the sand STILL. OUR PERSONNEL was the reason why we were able to dig ourselves out of the WF, Gtech, UNC games!!!!! Against FSU, where our personnel was outmatched, we couldnt do it. And last night, you can see the kids on D just gave up. Guys runnin wide open would frustrate any D especially if you cant understand why.
 
Biscuits, you arent serious are you? That was sarcasm and I just missed it right. Ok. Good. LOL.
