Take This For What It's Worth

yeah, um, it's his 2nd year in the nfl, uh, yeah, he should have come back instead of leaving after his rs sophomore year.

To be honest, if he comes back next year and shows no signs that the ankle injury has affected him EVERYONE should advise him to go to the NFL.

RBs have a shelf life. There's only so many hits the body can take. Duke gets nicked up every game.

Unless we've got a legit National Title shot and a loaded backfield (where Duke can just sub out with no drop off) then I don't see why he'd come back.

If we don't win an NC his Junior year and we have a legit chance at the title his senior year do you think he will stay for that reason? I Think he will, as much as he loves the U.

This. I honestly believe he will fulfill his dream of being the best to play at Miami and bring a title home, given the opportunity. His character and love for the U will supersede all else. The NFL isn't going anywhere and a stellar SR season will only bolster him higher

RBs are going to leave early more than ever. Listen to scouts and evaluators during the draft. They all consider "miles." Once "miles" became a negative instead of proof of reliability, the calculus for the decision changed. Would be very surprised to see Duke play a senior year at Miami on the heels of a healthy Junior campaign.

better question is: what are the chances he comes back 100% for next year? being serious. i have no idea the recovery time of the broken ankle. then there is the rehab and getting back into shape. also the mental part

Too far off to worry about, and hopefully with Yearby, and others. We don't miss a beat.

didnt Lewis brake his ankle last year? dont know if Duke's is as bad but Lewis has been invisible this year
