Has Miami ever played there since joining the ACC in 2004? I don’t recall it.

Last game in the dome was 2002.

Miami won 49-7.

They used to play Syracuse every other year up there when both were in the Big East.

Remember, in 1998 Syracuse and Donovan McNabb beat Miami 66-13 in the dome.

Miami then went on to win the next 4 games (1999 & 2001 in Miami, 2000 and 2002 in the dome) by a combined score of 179-20.

Wow. I am shocked. Is that more common than I realized in other conferences?

This is kind of the reason the ACC changed the scheduling model starting with this season.

Now, to be fair, Syracuse didn't join the ACC until 2013. Miami joined in 2004. So that's why there was the major gap in games. But still, in almost 10 years being in the same conference, Miami never played up there. That's a big reason why they changed the way the schedule is created, eliminated divisions, etc.

Now you play at every single school in the conference at least once every 4 years. So every kid you recruit, provided they stay 4 years, gets to play in every stadium in the conference. No more going 10 years without visiting a school.

It’s the only ACC stadium I’ve not been to. Ben waiting a long time to go.
It’s great when Cuse has a decent team. Very loud and now that the put AC in you don’t sweat to death. Took my son there for his first game this year. Cuse beat Purdue in the last seconds. Place was off the hook.

I’ll be rooting for the canes in 24 there. Might pony up for really good seats too.
