I agree with everything on the class breakdown. But let's be honest, we need 4 DEs this cycle. Taking 3 only replaces those that are leaving (where we're already undermanned).

QB - 1 - MJ jr...obviously our top priority.
RB - 2 - Crowley and one of 1. Sanders > 2a. Cain, 2b. Carter. If we get Sanders or Cain we call it a day. Otherwise we take Crowley and Carter.
WR - 1/2 - Payton and Ladson (If we don't get Ladson, we likely just stick with 1, and Mark Richards starts as a WR)
TE - 1/2 - Larry Hodges (we will only take 2 if the 2nd is Zipperer, otherwise we don't reach)
OL - 4 - Evan Neal, Darnell Wright, and Dontae Lucas have spots no matter what. Kingsley Eguakan, Brandon Cunningham, William Putnam, Michael Tarquin are all guys that are takes until we get to 4. Definitely 4, not 3 imo.

Defensive total: ~15.
DE - 3/4 - Khris Bogle, Cameron Williams, Rian Davis, and Summerall/Ingraham/Harvey
DT - 3/4- Jaquaze Sorrells, Renato Brown, Denzel Daxon, and maybe Derrick Hunter/Ingraham.
LB - 4 - Sam Brooks, Jesiah Pierre, and Anthony Soloman for sure. I'd add Avery Huff as 1a, and Eaford as 1b for the last spot.
CB - 3/4 - we want 3/4 of 1. Stevenson > 2. Steele > 3. Jaden Davis > 4. Kaiir Elam > 5. Josh Sanguinetti.....
S - 1 - Jordan Battle (Some CBs in this class/on roster could switch to S) Gant is a take, but doubtful we flip him. Otherwise only other Safety is Keontra Smith who might not be a take cause he's a hybrid S/LB. But we have Frierson and Blades who could switch, and Stevenson or Sanguinetti could play S too.

Athletes total: 2.

Youre obviously an idiot with no reading comprehension. Can you read that I also wrote "Some CBs in this class/on roster could switch to S " And "

It amazes me you've never heard of the SS position. Did you think Randy Russell was going to be a LB here too?

and notice how the staff didn't give a **** that we lost Randy Russell. I know what the **** the SS position is. It's just one of the least important position in all of football. Secondly we run more of a 2 deep safety look, which means a true SS in the mold of like Kam Chancellor is NOT at all neccessary. Jordan Battle and Amari Carter can play SS for us, while Stevenson, Frierson, Blades, etc all could move to FS and compete with Gurvan Hall.

You're clearly the one who doesn't A) understand our defense and B) Understand recruiting.

Agree but Stevenson is a CB.
 
Only taking 2 safeties lol Rian Davis is being recruited as an OLB . We take 4 DE's if it's something like Cam, Bogle summerall and Harris ll . Other than that I think it's 3 DE and 3-4 DT
 
The staff is sure recruiting like it wants 2 TEs. Hodges is committed. Zipperer is being recruited, amd some suggest slow played also (hope not), because Wydermyre is someone they want to get on campus soon.

They know that we have zero capable TEs on the roster for spring practice.

Most of those 3 stars will be 4 stars by the fall brooks,crowley,pierre,brown,daxon,cunningham, williams, will all be 4 stars hodges n kingsly will high 3s.

Ya, no way we settle on 1 TE this cycle. Irvin will be a Sumo Wrestler by next year and Polendey couldn't catch chlamydia on 8th street if he tried.
