Sunday Team Meeting

So they all starting standing up and saying "No, it was my fault" kind of like the "Ducks Fly Together" scene from Mighty Ducks.

Hahahahahaha.

But in all seriousness I like that they guys cared enough to do this. In previous years I swear half the guys would have cared less that they got blown out.

Not sure. I can remember past teams having similar player meetings. Point is, although they are well intentioned, they're often meaningless.

If we cried about losing that game we are going 5-7

Yeah because players that cry never succeed, like in the NBA, there was never a team, in say, 2011, that had players cry after a loss to another team, and then go on to beat that team 4-1 in, oh, let's say, the Eastern Conference Finals. Nope, never happened.

They showed bosh crying in the hallway into the locker room when heat lost to mavs and the next year they won it all so..... We BACK

They realized how many ***gots are in the fanbase and wept like women.

**** dude. I actually wanted to positive rep you but you get negged too often that I have to spread reputation around 1st. Hopefully, you're turning the corner. I'll try and rep you when I can.

Seriously though, I know everyone here is a badass and thinks crying is lame, but at least these kids care. We used to have kids snowball fighting while we got our **** pushed in. Or the camera panning to kids laughing and joking while we were losing an important game. This is a good start. These kids care.

Then they went out and got Mark Stoops. Don't see us ponying up for a good DC. Or even firing d'oh for that matter.

Sadly that has been the difference. Top notch dc. Our dc is low to mid level.

This is Stoop's 4th season. FSU was ranked 108th in total defense in 2009, his first season.

I'm pretty sure Mickey Andrews was the DC in 09, Bowden's last year right?
Right. Stoops arrived in '10.

On November 3, 2009, Andrews announced that he will retire as Defensive Coordinator after 26 seasons at Florida State.

Yes and I remember a lot of Noles saying his scheme would not work at FSU. They screaming about his "soft zone" defense. They were 94th in scoring D that year giving up 30 a game.
