I'm old enough to remember when we had dudes who could play stoned and still dominate.
 
I hope he's matured and can turn his career around. He has talent but these weren't the best circumstances for him.
 
Going to USF right now and after some flashes of him last year, I have a feeling he’s gonna us lead us to glory with 2 extra wins next year to go 3-9!
 
Jarren Williams is great at meeting low expectations. USF will love him. He'll probably be their greatest QB in history.

I’m definitely not an apologist or disagreeing totally with your sentiments. However, your missing curfew and playing stone example can be attached to several AA’s at Miami and MNC Miami players, only difference JW played on a Losing team. This does not make your point wrong, especially if said behavior contributed to the losing especially from a QB the supposed leader of the team. Behavior though reeks of a college kid more committed to the college lifestyle than winning football, which is a maturity issue. Hopefully now he’s grown up a bit and can realize his potential. I guess I agree with both sentiments, but do favor the former Cane aspect more.

I agree, just reacted to the guy bashing the Op. As a fan for 40 years, calling him suitcase is very mild! Hope he does well, but dont act like he was wronged! And you cant shut pieholes up with your rant!

I don't think Williams is very good and probably lacks some of the work ethic required to be a P5 QB. But, he was a 62% passer with a 19:7 TD:INT at the Power 5 level. He can play American Conference football. Jeff Scott is a good offensive coach and they got some decent QBs already on the roster that should either push him or break'em.
