Was Bama actually showing Gibson some attention or was that just crap I read?

Either way, lol at the thought of him going to USF over Miami. He's tailor made for Diaz's defense.

Update on this... Just realized. USF has one of southridge DBs committed to them. The big 6'4" safety Natron Grayson. Might play a factor.

Relationships are a Broward phenomenon. That crap doesn't apply in Dade. Once you are south of Hallandale, you act on the spur of the moment.

Chise's post is the single funniest post ive ever read here I aint gonna lie. It has nothing but truth in it but so eloquently describes the bullcrap recruiting issues that this team can seemingly never escape.

So lemme get this straight...we supposedly make a "power move" to get a Ridge coach whose gonna hand deliver all his kids here and now Gibson is looking at USfreakingF?!? This power mover cant be trusted.

We are the only god**** team in the nation where:

- mom wants "X" kid here but they leave anyways. Moms win out everywhere else in the god**** United States and Canada
- high school coach from winning program gets a job on the staff and cant hand deliver his best players to us
- former failed UM coaches suddenly become better recruiters once they leave
- we hire a "power guy" and before the ink is dry we potentially lose a kid from his school to an inferior school
- get dissed over and over again by the local high school stars that could bring this program back from the ashes

Im telling you everytime Pete comes out with an edition of the Work that gives everyone raging boners, like clockwork things fall apart within 72 hours. Never fails. And spare me the are you new to recruiting season crap. I've been following this crap since Clifton ****son hightailed it to the Noles.

I need an edition of Bleak Visions STAT!

We have 1 returning safety with playing experience. We need 3 in this class. This should finalize the safety position. Now add Dean and/or Edwards at CB.

Looks like a tweener now that grows into an OLB.

Gibson, Edwards, Carter, Collier are all 15-20lbs lighter and smaller frames.
