Large cap stuff. Anyone buying? Berkshire bought Bristol Myers back in November and ARK has been loading up in the last week. They seem much smarter than me, with two divergent philosophies, so thinking of buying some of that. Also was eyeing some banks but they have been run up a bit recently.

Got any more info on this my friend? I bought some today, but am very new to investing in crypto currency.

"I BOUGHT!"

"can you tell me about this thing I bought?"

Sorry, had to! :)

Explore these links, good starters:

LMAO yes, well I did a little looking on my own, but I know jack doo doo about what all that stuff means. All I see is what it is projected to do and what it is at and that was enough for me to get in now lol.

Edit: Thank you for the resources!

This is ARK hedging their bet... Crash is the sector BM holds them up a bit

All good. ETH basically hit an ATH today, so you bought high, historically. Of course we could have said the same thing at BTC $25k. It could run, but consider edging in. But we are starting to see a lot of irrational exuberance from the retail investor which scares the **** out of me. But I am not a seller. I'd rather ride it down then risk missing the big one.

I rec a portfolio of 60%-65% BTC, 20-25% ETH, and leaving some room to trade other alts. I like BCH, CELO, and LINK as well.

Just one person's opinion. It really is unchartered territory. Unless you really, really know what you're doing, BTC and ETH and hold them even of they go to $1 and you want to freak out. Trust the thesis.

Any of you invested in Gevo, a renewable energy company that went up 60% today? Interesting process - they focus on making car and jet fuels carbon neutral. One of their lead people was named to a Biden advisory team today, hence the run up.

Dip is happening. I have limit buy orders set as follows:

BTC @ 32.5 and 28.5
ETH @ 1200 and 1110 (think it could drop to 980ish but not getting greedy)
LTC @ 118, 112, and 106.

Good Luck!!

Any of you ARK guys getting worried they are getting too big to be nimble in the market? They have a size problem IMO. Sometimes you want to take the win and pare back. Just a brain bubble.

Yes and no. That is the problem with a lot of the actively managed ETFs. And frankly, they did an amazing job in a market made for their target investments. It has been a bit of a perfect storm for them. However, at this point what they invest in is almost a self-fulfilling outcome and part of the reason why their daily trade newsletter is so smart. They say we bought X, Y, and Z and people piggy back off it, sending the stock higher and in turn their investments. There are people just speculating what is going to go into their ARKX fund, knowing that if they guess right, the stock will shoot up once announced. But to your point, if and when things move back to value from growth or if their next round of small cap investments don't pan out like TSLA and SQ, it could be a problem.
