Off-Topic Stock Market & Crypto Discussion

@wspcane

TSM is the foundry that makes chips for a variety of companies including Apple and AMD. AMD and APPLE would "architects" in this relationship. Intel did recently ink an agreement with tsm to help alleviate their self caused supply issues that started their decline.

I also own TSM as well as qcom, marvell, qorvo skyworks, xlnx, nvidia, apple. Im big on the sector long term and there still a half dozen names id like to add. Intel to me just looks like its the obvious loser of the bunch right now.
I have heard a lot of positive buzz on QCOM related to the move to 5g.

I dont recall too many specifics but i believe they own some important frequency patents that cement them as a major player.

5g is big early step towards us entering the IOT age where nearly everything is "connected" and true autonomy can begin.

@wspcane wow talk about timing..

Uncanny. I expected to see MSFT jump a bit more after hours on the news. Better margins, vertical integration, and another product offering.

FedEx had a weird reaction to their very good earnings. Dropped $15 a share yesterday.

Might want to look at Sorrento SRNE. They have an antibody treatment and other covid drugs in their pipeline that appear promising. I bring this up due to Pfizer reporting allergic reactions to their vaccine and this may positively impact SRNE.

I own SRNE.

Thought this was a pretty interesting read on the impact of covid on Brick and Mortar retailers.

Anything on the shopping list before the holiday?

Apparently the ARK funds have been picking up a good amount of LGVW. SPAC that is Butterfly, a medical imaging company. It is up 15-20% today. How much of that is the company itself vs people mirroring ARK's underlying moves, who knows.

I've known a lot of people who we're so called golden child stock pickers and they basically were all full of ****. To do what you've done with stocks in divergent industries is really unheard of.

I only own BRPHF, but wish I had bought the others.

Happy trades Canes Friend!
