Mortgage rates are not lower than last August/Sept. home prices aren’t dropping in my area as of now. Nvda chips are but their code has some major weaknesses.

If we hit a recession, sellers will be motivated and mortgage rates will drop. Why post Aug/Sept?
Unfortunately tariffs could lead to inflation, keeping interest rates higher for longer.

Deep seek used a different approach to AI because they found a flaw with Nvidias AI code. Instead of using nvidias code, they wrote their own layer of code for older nvidia chips.

This would mean other orgs using nvidia could do similar things and save on billions on chips OR they keep the level of purchases and produce even more AI capacity.

I get what Deepseek claims to have done. I'm skeptical that it's any kind of a threat to Nvidia. I'd bet on companies going with what gives them a competitive advantage. That means producing more AI capacity.

Capitalism says otherwise. Nvda is the IBM of AI. That doesn’t means someone can’t hack an IBM to perform better OR go with a DecAlpha or Dell or compact. Thus, deekseek showed the world that the competitive advantage is to likely use Nvda chips but not the code. Imagine how good deep seek could be with the latest and greatest Nvda chips,

Actually NVDA is trading at the same price as early Sep. So going by that indicator, all things are equal.

Nvidia still gets sales. And code is easy to revise.

IBM failed to see the trend that had already developed in computing which has come full circle. Giant computer with multiple virtual machines became a network of small computers, which is now back to a central cluster of virtual machines.
