Have a general investing philosophy question for you all. So there is the old Buffett saying that the stock market is a device to transfer money from the impatient to the patient.
Taking Rocket as an example. I do think it is undervalued, but I also think that the national housing shortage is going to cut their revenues, as there are less new mortgages to start. Last year they processed through a ton of refinances which boosted the company's revenues, but that is largely worked through at this point. So now that it is on the uptick, I am trying to reconcile patience with why I initially bought into the company with new information and a developing marketplace.
How do you balance patience with new information?
