wasn't it that he was living w his coach or something and his mom wanted him at miami but he chose his coaches preferred choice of arky and mom took his NLI so dad came in and signed it? its not a perfect science with these coaches either as they do have agendas but not all coaches are like that and often times parents dont know the shadiness behind recruiting
The best defense is a good offense, sure hope that Mario is trying to poach a couple of recruits that we lost out to Louisville (the foremost on my board being Aaron Williams).
ill add that I know it from an example w troutman bc I knew that recruitment from the inside. his family that he stayed with didnt really want him at UM but he wanted UM and UM wanted him. they were kinda pushing him towards UCF Or elsewhere and it turns out, they were right. he would have been a better fit for a g5 program like UCF vs miami
